I just found out about 4 years ago that a uncle of mine was there, growing up we always new he had foot problems but he never said how are why he had the problems. A few years ago he was invited with a group of other veterans to go back to Washington for a service remembering what they had done. It was only then that it was discussed as to what he had been through. Both of his feet had been partially frozen. That was a tough generation of men that gave a lot and never complained. He is in his 90s now and going strong even being diagnosed with lymphoma over 20 years ago. Great men

I hope you have a speedy recovery. I understand anxiety and have dealt with it and depression since I lost a lot of mobility and the pain that I went through with my knee replacement. Getting back out there and not closing your self in is the best thing you can do. In privacy by ourselves we can become our own worst enemy, we are not meant to be alone in suffering. You have a huge group of friends here that care about you and I am sure open to talking if you just need some one to bounce things off of. If you are using a apple I pad or I phone, on the latest operating system upgrade they have it set up if you use a cable that go s from lightning to use that they make. ($29.00). It allows you to attach your camera to either one and download pictures. The photos are reduced in size but at least if you are traveling you can send out a few pictures. Bought one and have been played no with it. Seems to work pretty good for face book or any other app that you share basic pictures on. So far the files seem to be in about the 2mb size. A far cry from the 75 to 90mb that my camera files are stored at

About 25 years ago when blonde jokes were going around like crazy I went out on a double date. The woman I was with was a blonde. Me and the other guy and his girlfriend starting telling blonde jokes and having a great time. The girl I was with got really upset and went off on us. not a pretty scene. Well any way we were at the French restaurant at the bar drinking pouse cafe's It is a seven layered drink with a float of 151 on top. to drink it you light it and suck it out with a straw. Well after she had been really pissed off about the blonde jokes and chewed us out she turned to her drink that was just delivered bent over to drink it and lit her hair on fire. She never complained about the blonde jokes again. Of course made for a short night for me. True story had to share it

Pen turning has really taken off in the past few years. My lathe is a little to big to turn pens on, unless you have huge hands

when you find the style you want, either semi are revolver. Make sure you find one that fits your hand right and comes up easy to site in. As you learn to shoot it will help from developing bad habits that are hard to over come and reduce your accuracy.
