My thoughts, as someone in Healthcare? error the side of caution. Most countries are making well targeted and measured responses to the situation. If someone ask you, you had a 3-4 percent chance of succumbing to a serious illness within weeks, would you brush it off? Ask that of the 4000 soon to be 5000 who lost loved ones to this (within 12 weeks). I’m not saying we should go all chicken little but be diligent about yourself and your loved ones until this ends. The alternative seems very final.

Hey Ron, if you and your wife are in good health you should be fine. I realize your living in a hot spot, my wife’s family are reasonably close as well. I do feel for you buddy. There is only one confirmed case in my province and I found out that person worked at a bank 100 steps from my medical centre. She worked at the bank for a week prior to being quarantined. Now that wouldn’t seem to bad but I work in healthcare and see numerous patients in that area, plus my wife who has leukemia is incredibly nervous of that situation and my proximity. Best to stay calm and make sure you do what we each can to reduce the spread of this.

Good grief, Your an admin! I respect that you don’t want this political as you mentioned to Ghost but leave it at that. You loose any credibility when you pick one side (as you have shown prior to) than the other. As someone in healthcare for 30 years, this is serious. The numbers Harry mentioned are real and as the potential of this to spread is high. Everyone just needs to be diligent about the small things right now.

This is an awesome post and looks like fun. I have been a musician for years and typically play acoustic or electric. I do play bass though I have to admit, I chose a tough bass to master (Hofner). I also can play some piano as well.

I am saddened to hear the lose of Johnny. He was one of those characters that made you laugh or shake your head. Regardless what it was, Johnny always had something to say and colorful as he was, he always made you smile. He was an original and will be sadly missed. I have always identified myself a minority thought it’s not as obvious if you met me. Being aware of racial slurs or derogatory comments is sadly an occasional occurrence that happens.
