Dialog is good and informative from there you are capable of making a logical decision based on what you think is right for you there should be no fighting we all are reasonable humans 😃

I'm sorry to hear that....been there,done that, too many times ...family pets ARE part of the family a multi-species family ,so to speak,a friend who's always there happy to see you and be there and to talk to....I recently had to do the same with my best friend of 17 years, my cat Mr. Smalls.he was an indoor outdoor cat and had a full and eventful life,using all 9 of his lives to stay with us for as long as he could until kidney failure got him.....Your friend (family member)sounds like he had a good life.....but...when I read the title....I thought you were talking about EastCoast50   LOL
