This helps ALOT. Set it to ( Semi-Annual Channel ) instead of ( Semi-Annual Channel "Targeted" ) If your not interested in being a Guinea Pig for Beta updates. "Targeted" means you are targeted to receive partly tested "Beta" updates that are Not ready for Widespread distribution and use. I do not have mine paused and I haven't received the new update yet because it's not ready for widespread distribution and use.

Oh for fucks sake. Don't they even bother to Test the junk before releasing it? And the answer is ........ NO they force you to update to the beta and debug it for them. What a bunch of Wankers! btw "Semi-Annual Channel (Targeted)" is Microsucks version of Open Beta. Basically they push the Update through and your computer debugs the damn thing and sends the debug info back to them. If you set windows update to "Semi-Annual Channel" (SAC) you will get the updates when they are ready for Widespread Corporate and Organization Distribution. (AKA about as Bug free as it will get until the next update) Or you can pause it for a month and hope it's fixed by then.

More than 50% of the people on the server at that time Must vote Yes before I will skip the map. Which hardly ever happens because a good 60%-70% of the people on the server Never vote. Unless there is only a couple of people on at the time and it still takes forever to get enough people to vote. If the server is full and your in Spectate don't bitch if you get kicked. I'm not getting my ass chewed out AGAIN because Someone complained to someone about switching maps or not kicking spectators. If you want to get techy you can always open the exe with winhex or CE and change the version identifier from 1.8x to 1.7. If you can find it in the stack lol.

Just replace the main exe file with a working v1.7 Steam exe and it will work again.
