So for my birthday i was given a "Race Day" at Fontana Speedway in Riverside, Ca.  We received some classroom training, a little track reading then 10 of us were given a car to drive. There was 1 instructor for every driver and communication was through a little earbud! We took about 12 warm up laps then were given the green light 1 car at a time, if you get a rush from this kinda thing you need to check it out!! For beginners, the speed limiter is set at 140mph but each time you go they jump it up another 20 mph. We did 20 laps and yes it went way too fast, only problem after the race you must drive 65mph and that sucks!!

Kurt got a reaction from Leadfinger in Who's up for some Southern California Lobsters!!
Last November, I went on a short trip off the So. Cal. coast out of Ventura, to the Channel Islands. Santa Cruz, one of the closer islands in the bunch is a great place to fish, dive or hike at. Not only did we get to see many pods of dolphins but also whales. I got several dolphin videos but the whale video was a tough one. We had to try to position the boat where we thought the whale would surface and my buddy Gary hit it dead on.

Dolphin video.   (I was holding phone in one hand, the rail on the bow in the other, leaning out as far as i could. They were close enough to touch but i would've ended up wet and minus one cell phone!!)

Did someone say Lobster?  How bout some red lipped scallops?!!  Lobsters and scallops are caught bare handed except tool for scallop to pop them off their base. All the fish were speared by a 19yr old girl, (who just happens to hold the record for largest Sheep Head fish caught free-diving with a spear gun for a women.

Kurt got a reaction from Trailrtrash in Is your truck faster than mine?
This is my 2006 Dodge truck, bought it new. It has a straight 6, 5.9 cu. in. diesel and weighs in at a svelte 8500lbs!  The truck is capable of 20 mpg but I'm not! It comes stock with 325hp and 600ft lbs torque stock. It has a built billet transmission, triple disc billet torque converter, Fleece aftermarket turbo, intake, exhaust, Kore offroad suspension and most important is the "Smarty" tuner. The tuner can add 400+ hp plus and an amazing amount of torque, that's what necessitated the billet transmission. The truck is close to 500hp and at least 800ftlbs torque. A quick shout out to Mike at Inglewood transmissions in California, great job Mike, truck runs like a champ!!

This is a small burnout after Transmission install

This is a photo of my stock turbo after a lttle 4 wheelin! Can you see the nut that is supposed to hold the turbine to the shaft? I found pieces of the impeller blown into my air filter. A normal 20 minute drive took me 2 hrs and at the last incline before my place I happened to look at my exhaust, holy shit!!!!!  I had flames pouring out of the exhaust tip due to raw diesel fuel pooling in the exhaust system. A diesel designed for a turbo is more than gutless if it loses the turbo so it takes far more throttle hence more heat then you get a fire in your pipes!!  After installing the new turbo, i had to be very light on the throttle till all of the fuel dissipated.

This is my new turbo sitting on my seat, I was so anxious to open it!!

So I've tried my best to save the rear tires after the new turbo installation but the acceleration just puts this big dumb ass grin on my face! People think I'm always in a good mood because I'm smiling so much when in fact it's because this truck gives me wood! When these tires are almost gone I'll video a really nice, long burnout

I bought a diesel in 2006 and within 2 yrs a gallon went from $3.25 to $4.50 a gallon. Now it's great, I can fill up for under a hundred dollars since diesel is $2.75 gal. No matter what it costs here it is still far cheaper than what they are paying in Europe. Shit man, in Norway at the only gas station in Dale, we paid $14 a gallon and $22.00 for a cheese burger!!  I'm glad I don't smoke either, $17.00 a pack ouch!

October 9, 10, 11 2015 will be the dates for the next >XI< Fest in Las Vegas Neveda. So far the response of people going has been great and look forward to meeting lots of new clan members. The flight prices are still pretty high because the dates are so far out but keep looking at prices for flights every week, seems like Tuesday and Wednesdays are the best time to buy flights.

I don't have any activities set yet so if you have been to Vegas and have any good ideas let me know. I will have a pm sent out to the people going to discuss what we wanna do.

If you are interested in going and are not a member please PM me and let me know

This is open to non members too so if you wanna bring family or friends please do so, the more the merrier.

If you have interest in going and want to be added to the Fest group on the website where I will send out things to people interested in going then send me a pm letting me know. Let me know how sure you are about going and how many people are coming with you. Also need to know how many rooms you will need or if you need to share a room with someone.

Hey everyone, my name is Kurt and I play under that name also. I'm 56, 36 as an electrician/contractor specializing in industrial, institutional and commercial work but in 2003 started installing Photovoltaic panels for residential and commercial applications. I am now single and have no kids (bummer), trying to get my shit together!!

I started playing online when Rogue Spear came out. I was hooked from that point forward but now it's Freeze tag with you clowns!!  I look forward to playing with all of you, well except for that "Ice" character. Just kidding Ice, you just piss me off cuz you kill me all the time!!  Sally, T-rat, AH1, Ayaq of course, wtf me, surge, Dadda, the meek, ramistar, blue luna, keres etc are all great to be around just to name a few.
I fly radio control gas and glider models, started r/c around the age of 20 but flew control line planes since 10. The people i live with got me RealFlight 7 simulator for Christmas so it's freezetag or flying. I get up at 3:30am, I'm home at 3:00pm and in bed around 7:30 or 8:00pm so my killing time is very limited as well as my social life.

I love Don Julio Anejo tequila and Dos Equis amber ale as well as a good Black and Tan. I love fast cars or in my case fast trucks. i go through tires way too often in my truck but nothing new since my cars had a hard time keeping tires on them al
