Ah now I understand, and yes you can but you slow down other things, you need a lot of memory to run any O/S, sorry to disappoint you but reading your other posts a dedicated video card and at least 8gb on m'brd are normal minimum specs. However you say you need 2tb, wow, you sure? I think you're mixing memory with how much free space you need for game on hd, and 1tb is 1000 gb, is this not GB? Don't know what you were reading but as far as I know ram is a physical thing you have to add to the m'board or gpu ,as Timmah says for cpu. You can tweak settings in bios but news to me you can add ram. The power supply is easy, 850w will power most computers BUT as time moves on the physical connectors change, you need to check they will fit what you have, you can buy adapters though. tip, if you start poking around in bios make a note of every alteration you do and what it was originally
