This is getting to be the politics column lol. Firstly we do not have any common interests, we were conned into joining a common market, then conned again into a federal Europe which we hated. Do not take this as racist but we think of Europe as a nice place to visit, but an awful place to live, and worse for years we paid most of the bill. The average European mentality is not that of the UK, and despite the rubbish coming from the SNP I don't think it is in Scotland either. For an awful long time the people wanted out but our politicians kept us in, but apparently democratic votes do not count either in the UK or in Scotland (who voted to stay in UK). Good luck in the future with your ultra socialist policies, open borders, non elected rulers, 24 languages and building the infrastructure using your money in the poorer countries who will probably leave too, there's no fool like an old fool.
