After consideration I decided I had no need for an 'ac' router. Everything I have is 'n' and I dont foresee getting anything with ac in the future. So went with a linksys N900. Much cheaper and I can use the savings elsewhere on something I would actually use now.

Best thing about Mad Max, as little CGI as humanly possible. And this from someone that likes well done CGI (meaning NOT Transformers nor SW prequels). Oh and speaking of that movie, how many people lamented that Tom Hardy was going to suck and ruin it.

Yea the $200 one is out of my price range. Budget considerations are always a big factor. The C7 for $95 is a good deal but there are limitations compared to what is desirable I suppose. The next model up has a couple other nice things but not sure if its worth it for a typical home environment that basically comes down to usual internet usage, streaming, and possibly a media server.

Hi guys. Yup time to upgrade my router. I have a 'g'. Ancient by todays standards. It worked fine for my needs until I started streaming HD both via Netflix/Amazon and locally. My ISP connection itself doesnt allow for really good quality (5MB usually) and there are times its less due to demand in the area. Various equipment in the area needs to be upgraded in the future but they have no idea when that will be done. But its fine at 720 albeit with some occasional buffer issues. However recently there have been some local files that had periods of really high bit rates. 20MBps. No idea why since the scenes dont look overly complex. So router upgrade it is. Anyone with experience using TP-Link products? Decent sales on them. Routers these days have USB3 so it would also be nice to have a basic external enclosure as a file store, which these models say they can do, instead of leaving my computer on. DLNA is not important since I will just make sure that it is a format the firetv supports. Which so far has been good.

Played the alpha months ago. It showed promise. Standard UT style game. However the major stumbling block was even simply trying to join a game. I am hoping that is just a peculiarity of being the alpha and the final product will have the traditional server browser UT has always had. Since the eventual goal is a highly moddable system, as in the past, many great things can be done with it. But only if its easy for the end user to play. After all, UT was where the freezetag mod was born.

You mean the timer stops at zero and nothing happens at the end of the round? I assume round 1. That is unusual. Nothing in the map afaik should affect any kind of timer.

They promise a server browser for BO3 eventually for mods and unranked servers. But promises are easily broken.

Once you play Unreal using the Goliath Cannon, you will stfu about tubes. Tubes are quaint by comparison.

Last time around they changed the particular update from 'optional' to 'recommended' so as to get past people that never install the optional stuff. Soon it will be upgraded to 'important'. Currently this one seems to be the most obvious update to look for but it will likely change again. If you see it, uncheck it in WU and set it to 'hidden' so it wont show up again. KB3035583

Yup big congrats. I suspect in addition to becoming a great coder and such you grew a much thicker skin to deal with people that are never happy about anything.
