If you want to do that I recommend using one machine for a dedicated server. Dont bother with a listen server. It doesnt have to be a new or speedy one. Or even have a video card. Just a console with the server. A spare laptop with an ethernet connection could do it. Do not use wireless. Use another computer for the client. You could do both the server and client on the same machine but it is not preferred. Upload bandwidth will matter greatly. If you have 384 then you might be able to get away with 4-6 players. It will depend because its a big mod with a lot of data being received and sent. Also, unless you plan to have a redirect somewhere make sure the server cannot upload files or it will sap your connection.

Unless I am mistaken some kinds of specing never shows the minimap. One of those things I just didnt pay attention to. The little checkerboard is a bug somewhere. It is the hardpoint icon but it should be hidden like weapons. I likely missed something in the menu and didnt add a specing check somewhere.

The real ones to watch out for are yellow spikes because they represent sync between the client and the server. The bigger the yellow the more out of sync you are.

Who has used or knows how accurate SAMs are in BO and MW3? I havent played either enough to know and youtube vids are hardly conclusive. How often do they miss? If the vids are to believed they never do. The ow2 launcher with two shots at a time is really cool but I am running into fx limits with all the trails, flares and explosions so I think I will be forced to stick with one at a time for each. Which is what I think BO has. The 4X one in MW3 would be impossible. edit: it also looks like flares in mw3 dont actually attract anything and just make the missile, either launcher or hand-held, fly in a straight line. Seems BO only fires one. So I guess to keep fx in check I am going to stick with that. Sucks.
