  1. Who is more stupid? The tiktok idiot that pulled a bad prank and got shot? Or the trigger happy idiot now going to prison?
  2. Doesn’t have the same ring as ‘woke’. Which interestingly enough was a left wing word before it was appropriated and altered by the right. I guess the left tries to use fascist but it doesn’t have the same jingoism. Then again, the right does the same thing. Extreme left wing, or even rino for republicans that don’t toe the line. So what’s good for the goose…
  3. As opposed to the agendas in areas outside big cities. Trading one agenda for another agenda isn’t particularly appealing. All these leftie goals and views, political social or otherwise, all lead to ‘woke’. As the right likes to put it. All these rightie goals and views, also political social or otherwise, point to… what? As the left would like to put it? Woke woke woke. It’s all I hear from the right and it got old and boring long ago. What’s the lefts word that they won’t shut up from saying?
  4. True. Without details we cant really make any kind of reasonable judgement about the event in question. The video itself would likely answer a great many questions but its in the hands of the cops. That said, living in a society where you cant pull a stupid and foolish prank without fear of being shot to death is pretty bad. Back in the day, an idiot like this might simply get his ass kicked but not shot. Not that we can do anything about it anymore. Too far gone.
  5. Is it his fault for doing it? Or is it our fault for constantly watching him do it so he does more? Cheer on and applaud the court fool, he will continue playing the fool. That said, it doesnt make it ok to shoot the fool.
  6. Your neighborhood conservative christian family, that previously tried to ban Harry Potter books, complained that your snow woman was promoting witchcraft and must be melted. Er... removed. Another neighbor down the street has a retained an attorney and sent you a cease and desist letter claiming he invented snowmen and demand yours be taken down. Plus 10 million in damages. A religious family in the next town over demand that a manger display be placed next to your snowmen for equal representation. The police come to arrest your stark naked snow man and snow woman for indecent exposure. Your local clergyman wants to know if they cohabitate and not married. Not that there is anything illegal about it of course. The city arrives and demands to see if you have a permit for your snowman. If not, it will be red tagged and no further work can be done on it.
  7. I didn’t say I was a fan. To be clearer then. It should have been on the same list as the others. Other side of the same coin just as bad. Don’t quite get the Palpatine reference. The drag queen thing is cherry picking very rare examples righties and lefties will use to try and scare you to coax you into doing their bidding. Gives me an idea for a fun two player game that I haven’t seen. Will have to find out if someone made it. edit: The competitive MP aspect would probably cause a few fights.
  8. WTF were you thinking? Or, Is Hell as bad as they make it out to be?
  9. You didn’t add FOX etc to the list. I suppose they have indoctrinated you into their agenda. A no-win. Indoctrinated by one side or the other. Many call Sesame Street indoctrination as well. Burt and Ernie are gay lovers etc. Seriously? Then again, recently discovered that The Muppets have a ‘racism’ disclaimer by their current owners at Disney. I have never heard even one person say that. Does that mean Jim henson was a racist? These days, im sure there is a talking head that would say so. That said, it’s why I put parents at the top of the list. From the moment you are born for years you are a captive audience to their ideas, agendas, politics and goals. They openly and proudly say this, under the guise of child rearing or parental rights. Meaning, the rights of parents to indoctrinate their children into their own way of thinking. But they like to call it ‘instilling their values’. So when is it indoctrination by parents and when is it educating? When is it indoctrination of the public by talking heads and when is it informing it? Indoctrination or ‘re-education’ by governments? Religions or the various ‘spiritual leaders’? Schools? The West likes to say the East is indoctrinating it’s people. The East says the same about the West. Maybe they are both right.
  10. Lead someone away from a life of crime? We’ll, that’s the simplistic answer. Just as simplistic as saying a very firm hand, so to speak, will make someone a law abiding citizen. As we all know quite well, it doesn’t take much to undo years of life experiences, good and bad, since humans are inherently unintelligent and easily manipulated creatures. And those that want to manipulate you to their own ends are everywhere. Whether it’s a parent. A school. A church. A politician. A government. A cable news talking head. Or a wife/husband. How many here will agree with the last one from personal experience?
  11. My best offer: Pay me $200.
  12. Just to note, if there is a map that is just too good not to play, except for the mixed spawns, OW based mods in cod5 should be able to move them on a case by case basis.
  13. I think we all got the point after the third one.
  14. Boys and their toys?
  15. The player that does it should have a 'talkingicon' on the minimap flashing.
  16. Oooops. Got a couple song names mixed up. Doh!
  17. Gingham is a style also. Though you will never see me do it.
  18. ‘On me’ is ‘supposed’ to be used if an enemy is close to inform the team of his location. Not that people use it for that purpose.
  19. This is true. Oil or more specifically petroleum products are everywhere. One of those inconvenient truths certain groups dont talk about. And probably most of them have high prices far in excess of how much petroleum is actually needed to make them. So in the end, while you might have comparatively 'cheap' gas, you still pay through the nose for the oil you use every single day. Its like grocery stores. They lure you in with inexpensive items but get you with higher markups and profit on other things.
  20. A good solution, enforce auto-team between rounds and no changing teams. But then those that like stacking teams complain. So stacking is generally frowned upon for well known reasons. But a great many players simply dont care. Its all about 'me'. That means a not-so-good player that doesnt chat it up might randomly be on the team you are on, and thats the way it goes. Oh well. There can be perfectly valid reasons for someone not to chat. For this server, I had several at least in-game as opposed to teamspeak. And I played under assumed names. Too much openly personal shit I had to occasionally listen to from some people. Doesnt mean someone isnt otherwise friendly,
  21. I guess, to prevent people from abusing the system. As we all know, gamers these days will abuse the systems every chance they get in order to get what they want.
  22. Economy of scale as well. How many gallons of gasoline do we consume as opposed to sugar water. Then multiply by the 100 of millions that consume gasoline every day. I wonder if there is an OPEC cartel for sugar water
