Reenabling PB had been discussed several times. However it does nothing about any hacks that came around after support for it was dropped. Really it would only be good for monitoring old hacks (which are still around) or out of range dvar changes. There are other known console changes which are frowned upon such as level of detail removing foliage. Which is why hiding in grass for example is not advisable.

The 5 year warranty on black drives is also a good thing. I had to return a 2TB model after I think 2 years. It didnt die but failed an extended smart test and rewriting with zeros etc didnt fix it. 2TB models were not available so they sent me back a 3TB. SSD for the OS, programs, and things where you need to read/write a lot of data *really* fast. I have no experience with the M2 drives but that is an option in the future when they become a little more affordable.

Yup I need a new SSD also. But the 2TB models are quite expensive. Fortunately that also means the smaller ones are coming down in price fast.

Yes unfortunately some people bind the dvar to two different keys. Normal and ultra low. If you see someone running smoothly, and then he suddenly starts warping around when being shot at, then he clicked the 'low' button and ran away. I once saw one semi-regular, who shall remain nameless, moving around perfectly fluid and then I took one shot at him from close range. Because I suck as a player I missed. But he warped away with his lag bind like a little bitch. ? You can usually spot this kind of thing and often it tends to be by the same players over and over during a round. If its a populated server with only a few people doing it, its annoying but doesnt take away from the fun. But when half the server, or more, is doing it I dont even bother and go elsewhere.

Also have to remember that in the mw2 server players are running slightly faster than the default speeds. And that the default jumping setting is shut off. Both make it harder to get kills than it otherwise would be. People want it that way, so it is what it is. Oh and keep in mind that the saritch is overpowered due to a significant error on my part that I didnt know about until not too long ago. Set some things to their defaults (the old 'way it was meant to be played' argument used for marty etc), a properly balanced saritch, and I wonder what would happen. By nature, any change means some will get more kills and some will get fewer. And of course those that get fewer will complain like little bitches. ?

And last stand? And tube? Claymores? 3x grenade spam? Flashbangs? Pick something and you will find people that hate it.

I dont have time to play all the games I do have. I dont have $800 to spend on games either. But if you want to send everyone else an early Christmas gift Im sure they would be grateful. ?

Since its both send and receive, but voice only not SFX, it still sounds like a game problem. Maybe in the menus chose to set everything to default and go from there?

Nobody despite a lot of trying using different modes. The current mod is Fraghouse Invasion. So one player can enter it and play the game with bots if nobody else comes in. Fun mod with a lot of constant action but it is an admittedly old game. Also, if its just you alone then there is no reason to go onto a server. Run your own at home. That said, even with its age it is a much better sniper server than CoD4/5 with some good weapons and loads of maps. Good times. And none of them are those no-cross maps that I hate and wont play. A sniper game where you hardly have to move your view and never have to worry about your sides... or getting knifed... is boring. ?

One thing to check out, if you tend to get headaches after prolonged use of computer monitors, is whether or not a particular monitor suffers from flicker problems ( PWM backlighting) . This is different from FPS or refresh rate.

Wow. Ok they do have 144 IPS monitors now. Yep as always, pretty pricey for new things. More than I could ever afford.

Note that IPS monitors cant do more than 60hz. So that excellent color and clarity comes at a cost if you want a monitor to primarily play games. That said, I like this one for just those reasons, excellent color, brightness, and clarity. But I am casual gamer not hard core. Going through boxes and boxes of everything that I am prior to packing it all up at some point in the future. I still have all my D&D stuff from way way back in my high school years. Ooops. Checked to be sure. Supposed to be 8 by default but yea there was an error that the faster rotation time changed. Fixed it and will take effect on next server restart with the default of 8 rounds. BAH! I hate it when I do shit like that. ?
