i9? There are i9's now? I havent kept up on cpu and gpu developments. edit: Damn, those are mega expensive. Considering how the stock markets have been fairing the last couple weeks, well, some things have to wait.

Well, one day I know I will need win10 installed for certain uses. So I suppose I will use it for a main OS but also use a Linux virtual machine for all private needs.

Well everyone else uses 'extra large' so who cares. But since its a name that's been around that long I wouldnt have changed it. Unless it made business sense and would increase sales and profits. If so, business is business.

No I dont. Right click the sound/speaker icon in the taskbar. Choose 'recording devices'. Choose the currently selected mic, which should be your headset mic, and go to properties. There are some tabs there to check through. Im using win7 so I dont know if its different for win10.

Go into the mic properties in the sound control panel and see if the level is turned up.

I guess the main point is that these idiots made a lot of money from it. Which is the reason for the frozen accounts. If no money was involved it is more likely it would have been no more than a cease and desist order.
