As for forcing people, perhaps you werent here when the current mod was uploaded and how it was forced.... uh.... switched. Oh and there is one major difference between myself and ea/dice. You dont have to pay to play and I wasnt paid to make it. So I appreciate you not mentioning me in the same breath as though I was doing this for the money. ? -

Its possible in some ways since its something hackers have done in the past to instantly unlock everything in ranked servers. If you want to join them as one, well, nobody can stop you. In any case, if need be I can simply hash the actual number before the normal cod4 encryption.

Same place your ranked server and challenges progressions are stored in each profile. But you wont see it since everything is encrypted.

The data used by the mod is kept in the player profile since the game cannot access mysql data or anything like that. Also, different player profiles do not combine. This is different however if you simply rename an existing player profile in-game or from a text editor. Trust me I know how it works. Some notes: Yes if you play on a different XI server with the same server mod+name (very important and must be identical in all respects) then time played will continue. So playing on the G13 ftag mod will not apply to MW2. If you spectate, time played will not increase.

Keep in mind that if you delete your cod4 player profile it will reset to zero time played since that is where the data is kept. So, make a copy occasionally.

The modding group put a huge amount of work into that one. cod5 is much more forgiving on modding and better assets. But irrc there was only lukewarm support or interest after it was finished so it wasnt worked on much more. Unless they went back to it later. I hate to say it but often it seems that the only time games get player support is if you charge money for them. -
