tinmann reacted to BurnnBright in Women over 40
CBS commentator, Andy Rooney on women over 40: "As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why: A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?', here's an update for you. Nowadays 8 0 % of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

So, we offloaded the car onto the boat, checked it over and left the marina.
We cruised north just a couple of miles to moor up in the countryside for the night.
Wife stepped off to hold the boat into the bank with a line whilst I tied her (the boat,
you sickos) up.
She said, "Eleven in the sky".
I said, "What?".
She said, "Look up".
I said, "That's not eleven, that is Xtreme Idiots! Hope I can get a picture!".
She jumped on board and took the shot...
Really uncanny!

tinmann reacted to djMot in BSOD
You do not need a 3rd party viewer to see what went wrong. Simply open the Windows Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc) and click into the "Windows Logs" area and start scanning for errors at the date and time of the BSOD. They will be obvious.
The reason you are not able to read the BSOD because the system reboots too fast is because you have Automatic Restart on System Failure enabled, which it is by default. To turn it off so you can actually get a look at the BSOD screen:
Go into the Control Panel and start the System app (or right click on Computer in the Start menu and select Properties.)
Select Advanced System Settings from the selections on the left sidebar (this places you in the System Properties dialog on the Advanced tab.)
Under the Startup and Recovery section, click the Settings button.
Uncheck Automatically Restart.
If you do this, you will need to force a restart yourself whenever you get a BSOD.

Well, if you are running Windows 7 you can use the built in utility to create a disk image. I did this and found it to work quite well so go with this if you are running 7. If you are not running Windows 7, then there is a lot of software from free stuff to paid. Comes down to preference and features. Outside of Windows 7, I have also used Acronis True Image which I thought worked well and does a lot more than I need but I have a handful of PCs and laptops in my home network so I can set up a backup on several machines over the network and save the image to my server.
For a simple solution, you can check out software like WinImage http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm or Clonezilla http://clonezilla.org/.
