Here we go. My mesh uses 802.1/ac to that should give me 200 mbps so say 50 to 75 in real life that should be enougf for the OTA signal. I never though about my HDHomerun box it could be the choke point for the wifi signal ? So how would you test that box.

I would love to place a faraday cage of sorts around them but then they would not work ? Than MikeB would have his way unless I started breeding and teaching the kids to runaround turning lights on and off. Scary solution. Aluminum is for hats.

I can watch local news on global but they run lower 3rds and the right side 20% is adds adds adds. If I watch Ota it's full screen and the picture it true 1080.

Clutter the majic eraser in every map. Got terrain giving you grief make a junk pile place it ontop of the error pow poff its gone. Map looks empty fill it with everything wham its now an amazing map. Empty maps leave no place to hide so huge kill streaks no chance to fight back no place to hide. Tree's really piss off snipers. Snipers really piss of run and gunners. More trees scotty,  dammit captain I'm a man not a arborist  . Map looks to square round it off with some of grannys russian crap from her back yard. Place it in the corners remember leave room to run behind it   Please do not forget Rockapes smashing bashing cow.

2 power line plugs d-link av2 1000 .It use to be 2 tp-link powerline plugs but inan effort to find teh issue I replaced them with newer ones. (Bigger Bettter Faster  .  Runng tp-link smart plugs 11 plugs 3 light switches. After about 6 plugs turned on the signal drops fast.After a couple more the light goes red and I buffer.  Also the signal drops slower if I turn the plugs on from the outer edge of the circle so to speak. 

I whis I could its a big house 3 stories office is in the 4th bedroom conversion so is the fiber . running cat 6 through the house I would have to create a room in teh basement to collect everything. Such a big big job. Thats why I'm trying to find a way to filter one outlet and not have it cut the bandwidth. If possible which seems like a lot of work too  

So I use a power line adapter from my server to my roku. Not so much for movies wifi works fine for that but for OTA signal. I networked my antena so my local channels are available anywhere I am logged on. That takes some bandwidht. Now I also use a lot of smart plugs. I've always had an issue with the powerline adapters dropping its bandwidth to almost nil. I lucked out last week and was looking at them when my better half asked google to turn on the night lights. Google lite up our house and bamm I got a red light on the powerline adapters.  Nothing but luck because I had no idea why it keept losing signal. So a bit of reading and my conclusionis the smart plugs are poluting the electric curent causing the drop in signal. So the question is how to I add a filter to this problem. A house filter is over a $1000 and not going to happen. Individual plug filters as well will run up a big bill I have over 30 smart plugs. I was trying to figure out if a ferret line filter would work on the plug I'm using the powerline adapter on. Add it before the plug. Will that screw up teh signal  as well ?? I ask because its not stopping the incoming noise but blocking it from the power line adapter. I hope this makes some sence to somebody. Its an interesting problem though. And yes for now if I want to watch OTA signal I turn off teh plugs but thats not a real fix is it    Thanks for any idea and thoughts

Yep your first map should be a simple test map. Its also a great place to test out ides before you place them in your real map. 

I do not have cod4 on steam. But you might want to see if steam has the tools. Select your game and see below.

Keep In mind the models you will need to make the map. I know of no catus model's sorry. There are wagons mining type model's çritters and shacks galore though. 

OR play cod5 ft  twice the fun half the issues plus all our women have sexy voices and some of the guys do too. Not that I would know though. I'm told we have twat waffles too sounds fun to me  

Good luck there is a bit of a learning curve but once that's over your gold

What type of monster did you use ? A scroll or dragon maybe a wayward troll ? Ground up griffin or gorgon does sound taste.

I'm just mentioning it as I play in the DM3 server alot and only ever see one admin usually monkie but he's different time zones from when I'm on etc. I rarely see any other active admins on that server at any given time. I'm not saying let there be more Admins then players but having admins that are at different time zones is also can benefit the server in assisting. I'm not an admin tho I do have several years of knowledge on setting up and maintaining servers and also admin servers. Bit I'm not here to create issues just mentioning a trend I've noticed in the one server I play alot in.

Sorry no bad intentions here. I was a bit of an admin back in the day and the decision of who to make an admin how many and so on get complicated. Love to give something to all who love XI but the fact is we are this big that many players and at those times. So handing the  key to the masses makes no sence. Our admin hierarcy works great. Admins then head admins I do believe some head admins from other games have  rights on other servers , then Senoir admins can kick everything except a field goal  a foot ball or soccer ball. So when you check the numbers were always around.  It's nice to know you would like to help though. Thank you 

Well haveing more admins than players is not cool. Admins like ucjohn also have lives  and cannot always be on. I'm sure the head admins watch that number. I know I do not see many complaints about the lack of admins. Or the lack of policing the servers. Just my opion
