There is the ability to download through the portal but takes a while. To answer your question - maybe yes. But really the demand is not high so it's not high up on my list.

Unsure about the specifics of mobile calls but yes that is how allot of encryption works. It is common for the decryption to be stopped once the data is within a 'trusted network'. Certainly that is very common place in IT.
Fundamentally though it is now considered best practice (and ultimately now possible) to have encryption at all points including at rest. However the fact remains that data that is encrypted can be decrypted and is therefore never 100% safe.

I was doing "tracert 162.248.95.178 >> text.txt" in game when I was starting to lag and found that many times in the middle of the routes I was getting time outs. They seemed to all be happening Comcast jumps so I'll get with my ISP and talk to them. Hopefully, they fix this if they are getting congested on their backbone routers or something.

From what you have said it sounds like it is not a server issue as they would affect all players at/for the same time.
You mention other players having similar issues - are they happening all at/for the same time and if so is it a common subset of players on the server? Most commonly this is a regional node/routing issue. These are outside our control as could be with any number of companies involved from your ISP to our host.
A diagnostic measure that you can use is to run a trace route (tracert) command from the Windows command prompt when the issue is occurring and post the results here.

This was probably a transient error - I performed a few releases of the Portal yesterday which could have affected that component. Unless otherwise said I will assume resolved.

I haven't looked to be fair. Themes were something that changed a load with the update. I had to delete the incompatible ones and get the updated Chameleon one. The IPS 'Default' theme is light but plain.
Will need to revisit themes again in a short while.

I posted the URL after, got the name wrong it wasn't Daemon but DemonWare. In any case I wasn't discussing publisher or producer but the company behind the master server/authentication.
The Treyarch, DemonWare and Infinity Ward companies are owned/subsidiaries of Activision anyway..
