I had an issue like this before and it turned out to be the activation settings from my keyboard (Z key) not being properly set for, in my case COD4.I have a Steel Series gaming keyboard with multiple game genres. Maybe you have a similar problem. Hope it helps.

Any time laminated wood is exposed to weather, it is a good idea to put caulking along the upward facing joints and also to make sure the wood is stained (preferable) or sealed before placing to keep water/ice from getting between the joint(s) causing rust to nail/screws and wood rot. Is there any way to run a laminated beam from the far out side (middle) to a hanger or support on the house side with-out being intrusive?

Hi Cobra. I have a SSD with my OS on it and a 1 TB HD for my games etc. Do I need Windows on both drives, probably not. But when I try to delete it on the HD, it won't allow me to, even as an administrator. I think because of the OS being on both drives that's where my problem is. When I start COD4 or WAW, my game load starts slow but acceptable( Xfire ) for the first part, then stops at about 10 sec left and starts the second part at a ridiculous 1.5 hr. speed. (10 KB per sec. ) To stop the download I have to push, Ctrl+Alt+Del which gives me the Task Manager screen in what appears to be default resolution and I push End Process, it goes back to the download screen, then I push the Windows key which gives me the Task Manager screen at the proper resolution and push End Process and it stops the process. I then start the game download and it loads the second part OK. If I try to use the Windows Key without going through the first Ctrl+Alt+Del routine, nothing happens. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Radar. I agree with building your own. All that ram on those builds are a cheap way to hype a machine and get more sales, but if you build your own you can move your investment money around to what you really want or need. Little things sometimes mean a lot , like a smaller but faster hard drive. For instance; 1TB@ 10,000 RPM or SSD. It is fun to build your own and learn how it actually works. Started with ATARI/ pong, big worry back then was leaving it on after falling asleep and etching the picture tube forever with the pong paddle image, funny the test pattern never did that? Grew facial hair and moved on to Microsoft Simulator, all the Joint Operative series and then COD2,4, WAW, Black oops. Mostly good games, but great people.

Make sure your fuel tank is 3/4 full or better, add some gas line anti-freeze or fuel conditioner to your tank before you have problems. Always pack a cell phone walking or driving in cold temperatures. There is a neat little device that you can buy at most automotive stores, it is called an oil-pan heater. It's basically a magnetic element that sticks to your oil pan and warms the oil for faster, easier starting. Works great in very cold temperatures with or without a block heater.
