They got expensive toys...that's for sure!!! Very Cool!!

So this was my labor story over the last 10 days.... I need a girl in the office and the only real skill she needs other than the ability to get to work on time is proficiency in Excel....that requirement was in the ad... I got no responses....starting at 17.00 and hour and after 90 days full benefits.. I need 2 oil drivers and the only skill other than the above and a cdl with hazmat endorsements is half a brain...well, I got applicants but most wanted cash (because they are collecting unemployment) thus they are scammers and don't belong here... I had a retired cop with the right skills but he wanted 28 an hour and to be laid off after winter so he could collect....he is making 24 an hour cash now and the extra 4 he says would cover his taxes... So...in summation, I have 3 full time and not low paying jobs open but no one wants to make an honest living... I understand some people have situations but damn.... And on the other side of the coin...no one is entitled to cell phones, cable tv, internet, Netflix and all the other bullshit monthly expenses that take the biggest part of monthly income...I paid my dues, cut corners to get to where I am finally able to not worry so much and sleep at night by hard work and long hours....I have zero sympathy for lazy ...none at all.... So...there are plenty of skilled labor jobs available in all industries across the board so if people want to better themselves they can by learning a TRADE!!! But most just feel that lifes not fair and they are no getting the things they are entitled to, so they milk the 99 weeks of unemployment. Raising minimum wage is NOT the answer....break the lazy chain and lets educate people in all forms of skilled labor and you'll see things turn around....

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird's chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head and sadly said, "I'm sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away." The distressed woman wailed, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead," replied the vet.. "How can you be so sure?" she protested. "I mean you haven't done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something." The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a black Labrador Retriever. As the duck's owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head. The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room. The vet looked at the woman and said, "I'm sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck." The vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.. The duck's owner, still in shock, took the bill. "$150!" she cried, "$150 just to tell me my duck is dead!" The vet shrugged, "I'm sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, ......................................but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it's now $150."

Look... I own a family business and am always looking for people to work hard...I am busy all year long and I have one guy out of 9 that works hard and long and gets compensated accordingly... Time and a half ...insurance (family plan)...matching 401k... I find most Americants to be lazy at best and scammers at worst...sorry that's what I see...

That's something I would do to my kids...driven far enough I would not hesitate to do that to them.... Hell...I started an addition on my house that requires me to move out for 3 months...I got a 1 bedroom apartment...my son goes where am I going to live...I said I'm not sure..where? LOL...he got an apartment...its all about motivating kids... I agree with that dads message...lol..

Hate is a really strong word ....perhaps disappointed is more correct ...and it not solely an admin but member position we take... There is a level of pride in the tags we carry.
