I want to say thanks to everyone for reducing the hacking accusations and actually taking video and getting these hackers banned. 3 players have been banned already because they took video and sent it in to an admin or posted to the forums. 
Thank you again and please do not accuse people of hacking in the servers, take video and send it in and they will be banned if they are hacking.

Hi guys, so apart from getting shot to pieces everyday which I have to admit is my favourite time of day, I have another hobby , metal detecting, over this year I've found some lovely old stuff, but yesterday I found a once in a lifetime find, an early bronze age axe head, it's over 4000 years old as you can imagine I am made up and just wanted to share it with you guy's.

So I use a power line adapter from my server to my roku. Not so much for movies wifi works fine for that but for OTA signal. I networked my antena so my local channels are available anywhere I am logged on. That takes some bandwidht. Now I also use a lot of smart plugs. I've always had an issue with the powerline adapters dropping its bandwidth to almost nil. I lucked out last week and was looking at them when my better half asked google to turn on the night lights. Google lite up our house and bamm I got a red light on the powerline adapters.  Nothing but luck because I had no idea why it keept losing signal. So a bit of reading and my conclusionis the smart plugs are poluting the electric curent causing the drop in signal. So the question is how to I add a filter to this problem. A house filter is over a $1000 and not going to happen. Individual plug filters as well will run up a big bill I have over 30 smart plugs. I was trying to figure out if a ferret line filter would work on the plug I'm using the powerline adapter on. Add it before the plug. Will that screw up teh signal  as well ?? I ask because its not stopping the incoming noise but blocking it from the power line adapter. I hope this makes some sence to somebody. Its an interesting problem though. And yes for now if I want to watch OTA signal I turn off teh plugs but thats not a real fix is it 🙂   Thanks for any idea and thoughts

Yep your first map should be a simple test map. Its also a great place to test out ides before you place them in your real map. 

I looked and no it doesn't seem to have the modtools for cod4 @Labob.....I am extracting the zip folders to my cod directory,however I should have gotta a third party extractor hahahahaha says its going to be an hour before its done extracting...oops 😬...Thank you all for yalls help in the right directions.. hopefully this will work on my craptop

unzip both in the cod4 directory

What are they going to do?  The guy was banned from the clan over a decade ago and plays a game XI doesn't (and can't) support (i.e. host servers).  Plenty of people use the TS server that aren't actually members of the clan.  In this particular case what proof is needed besides the asshat was already kicked out of the clan and he still uses our TS server to play games with other XI members (that are all apparently unaware or don't care that he was previously banned)?

Hello XI members and non members alike,it's been 8years since I did my first intro and have been AWOL for quite some time and y'all have many new members to the clan and forums...

My Real name is Joshua and I'll leave it at that for now..I've been into FPS games since unreal tournament got into messing with mapping for medal of honor spearhead...I'm a gold prospector by trade and love the outdoors..love coming into the servers for both cod4&5 I don't play alot at the 5 servers but still love going in and playing there..I've been around for a long time just have been in a life rut for a time  now im here lets play and i hope yalls fps drops so i can kill you till i get my game skills back....if yall git any queation about me just ask 

It's a throwback to the old "rugrat" term thrown around on 80s bulletin board systems.  It's sort of like "noob" before the interwebz became a thing.

I got accused in MWIII (and I guess reported, since he said he was reporting me) by a former XI member who still uses the XI TS server *and* wears XI tags both in the TS server and in-game, although said player was apparently kicked outta the clan many years ago, and does not currently have an account on the Web site where I could properly tell him to fuck off.  So will bans be carried over to TS as well?  

I remember a long time ago him telling me it came from a old "Star Wars" Game. That is how he knew "Highfighter" who was running the old server I played on until the Clan died from a Power Struggle. Highfighter ran his server a lot like XI was set up and the guy running the websites for both Clans EGC AN >XI< was the same person Swiss. That's how myself and 2 other EGC Admins found the XI and got to know the guys at the Shop they all worked at. @Ruggerxi kept the name and for the first several years only posted pictures of his back. He took great joy in not showing the ladies his smiling face. That's the way I remember it. I had to play 2 of his co-workers C-Bags and Kilroy 1v1 DM games for 15 minutes each with spectators to be able to play on the XI private 10 man server that was password protected for them to play at work. Beat one and tied the second. Our COD2 DM Server was packed with 24 players every day and guys XI was going nuts with kick to make room requests for non-members and spectators. Oh what fun times those were. My wife would respond to my X-fire messages if I was not home so players knew to find another Admin or person with contacts and cell numbers. It was crazy to see what he has made from those humble beginnings.
