I was mentioned to look for this program and I have to say that it helps alot!

You can find it here and scanned for bad stuff but nothing: MSE, Malware bytes all clean;

The only problem is that you have to delete the "autoexec.cfg" file, before you start playing.

 

To confuse some people is a way that also might help :)

To execute these commands, you either put them in system.cfg ( if existent), By enabling the console (the “~” key) or
you put them on the command line (right click on the exe and then properties).

 

#Note: IF YOU PUT THESE CONFIGS INTO SYSTEM.CFG, YOU WON'T NEED THE "+" BEHIND, ONLY THE COMMAND, FOR EXAMPLE            sys_spec_shading=3

                   LocationSystemCFG.jpg

1 = Enabled; 0 = Disabled; x = Enter the desired value; 1/2/3 = 1 is smallest setting and 3 is highest

sys_spec_gameeffects = 1/2/3 -> Changes Game Effects such as body-related stuff like when they disappear

sys_spec_objectdetail = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality of the detail of the objects

sys_spec_physics = 1/2/3 -> Changes how you interact with the world ( higher is more CPU-intensive )

sys_spec_postprocessing = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality and amount of post processing used

sys_spec_shading = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality of the shaders

sys_spec_shadows = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality of the shadows

sys_spec_sound = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality if the sound

sys_spec_texture = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality of textures

sys_spec_water = 1/2/3 -> Changes the quality of the water

+cl_crouchToggle=0/1 -> Disables/Enables crouch toggle

+cl_zoomToggle=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Zoom toggle

+i_mouse_accel=0 /1 -> Disables/Enables mouse acceleration

+g_skipIntro=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Intro Skipping

+cl_fov=x -> Enter your desired value for the Field of View

+r_DrawNearFoV=x -> Enter your desired value for the Field of View of nearby objects

+pl_movement.power_sprint_targetFov=x -> Enter your desired value for the Field of View while sprinting

+r_motionblur=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Motion Blur

+g_radialBlur=0/1 -> Disables/Enables the Radial Blur, which gives you the effect of speed

+r_Flares=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Flare effects around certain dynamic lights

+r_Glow=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Bloom effects

+r_HDRRendering=0/1 -> Disables/Enables HDR Rendering

+r_SSAO=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Screen Space Ambient Occlusion

+q_ShaderHDR=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Shader HDR effects

+r_ColorGrading=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Color Grading

+r_MultiGPU=0/1 -> Disables/Enables SLI/CrossFireX (requires next patch)

+r_MultiThreaded=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Multi-thread support

+g_useHitSoundFeedback=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Sound feedback of a hit

+e_shadows=0/1 -> Disables/Enables shadows

+r_FSAA=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Full-scene Anti-Aliasing

+r_UseEdgeAA=0/1 -> Disables/Enables Edge Anti-Aliasing

+r_TexMaxAnisotropy=1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10/11/12/13/14/15/16 -> Select the desired value for Anisotropic Filtering ( from 1x to 16x )

+d3d9_TextureFilter=bilinear/trilinear -> Chooses between bilinear and trilinear texture filtering

+cl_sensitivity=x -> Enter your desired value for mouse sensivity

I also found this. I dont know if it helps. I did rename my .exe file as it states and seemed to work fine in crossfire..

I renamed mine to bioshock as there are a couple suggestions.

 

 


No sure how many people have been having the same problem as me with serious amounts of flickering in game when using multiple GPU's but if you are having this problem here's a simple fix!

Updated 3/25/2011
1. Make sure you have the latest ATI catalyst application profiles installed
2. Rename crysis2.exe to bioshock.exe (or run under radeon pro with with bioshock profile selected and run in fullscreen)
3. Play!

very good scaling with my two 5770's and no screen flickering! yay!

Thanks man this really took the screen flickering away! FINALLY I CAN RUN THE GAME IN CROSSFIRE without flickering!

But you don't have to run the game through Radeon Pro :/

With the latest 11.1 Caps you can also use the Need for speed Shift 2 profile on Crysis 2
just rename to Shift2 very good scaling also!

Anyone know of a sli fix?? if i rename crysis2 exe to crysis i get a solid 60fps in hardcore 1920x1080 but i get flickering.

Right click on the crysis2.exe and click on "rename", then you type "rift", so then it becomes "rift.exe".

crossfire scaling is like 30% with this, if you rename to bioshock.exe is about 50% still nowhere near perfect.. crytek fails big time.

Not sure how it's really all Crytek's fault....AMD should have a better profile available. But ya it suck's how we can't maxout our cards in Crossfire.

 

 

This is a easy way to solve Crysis 2 texture problem thatyou just create a system.cfgfile in your root crysis directory and put r_TexturesStreaming=0 init.

Renaming the Crysis2.exe would stop XFire ingame to work right?

make it easier if a game and card company should have done got together !!!!!!!!!!!!!!but my thought crysis fucked up big time game is so not nothing crysis easy its cod pumped up not crysis not saying i dont like it just not anything like crysis so most will like i no since they never came to the other servers

 New profiles added to this release:

- Crysis 2 (Steam version) – resolves flickering seen when running in CrossFireX configurations.
Saw this when updating my ATI video card
