I got my SandyBridge build going for a bit and now it's time to clear extra parts I stack up now...

-Intel core 2 Quad Q9550 C1 stock speed 2.83Ghz Quad core 12 megs of Cache memory (always ran  at 3.6GHz)

-Asus P5Q Pro S775 Motherboard Crossfire-capable at 8x/8X PCI-E 2.0

-2 X 2GB Sticks of Gskill DDR2-1000 2.1V CL 5-5-5-15 (F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ)

-Xigmatek Dark Night HSF

I'd rather sell the bundle (CPU/MOBO/RAM/HSF)

Sorry for the "Delavan" nickname, it's my computer forums nick...they don't know I'm a MOFO in disguise....

Also, that EVGA GTX260 Core 216 card that you see here has been use one month MAX...

Remember, I live in Canada, so shipping in the States would be crappy, I guess US Customs has a lot of pretty hardcore personnel..holding shit at Customs for ages....

Anyway, I'm not intending to get rich with the sale of this, but at the same time I can't give that away...I intent to buy a 24" LCD 120hz gaming monitor...

PM me!!!

LOL I'd ship it on the moon if you're paying!

I was thinking offering the card for less than a $100...

and the CPU/MOBO/RAM/Heatsink combo for less than $300...I could throw a Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS soundcard into the mix as a freebie to the dude grabbing that combo...

all shipping fees would be taken care of by the BUYER...

I think, when I check forums, that the CPU alone can be worth 70% of the price, so like 160 bucks.

Look at this and those are EURO prices (times 1,4) :

You're perfectly right on that one.

The Q9550 is one of the fastest socket 775 CPUs...it's great for people upgrading from a dual-core to a Quad, with a motherboard that supports it...this cat always ran at 3.6GHz, like a charm...

The price is not high by any means, when you consider the price of a Sandybridge 2600K CPU at $300...(still SB is a good deal too)...

If one wants to pay for shipping, I'd let the CPU/MOBO/RAM/heatsink combo for BELOW $300....

I'm not in bad shape for money, so I won't "fire sale" this...my goal is to get some $$$ to put towards a better screen (1080P 120hz)

if not, I'll use this platform to upgrade my daughter's rig ([email protected], P965 mobo, 2GB RAM and HD5770)...

Hey Scoob,

As you might know, when you overclock, more heat is generated, so stock cooling is out of the question...

My actual cooler Noctua NH-U12P on my 2500K...using Noctua fans...AKA POO fans...they look like shyte (brownish color), but they're silent, yet having good flow rate... look you see the other heatsink (Xigmatek Dark Knight ) in the background...

?

I got the cooler on the pic...it's my picture. NH-U12P here...I got my CPU to 4.5GHz right now, trying all kinds of settings..up to 4.7Ghz it's fine...for 4.8, I would have to add a little too much juice for my taste.

Why would you want to buy a 24 inch monitor when you can buy a 32 inch lcd tv for around the same price? I sell them in Canada for 349.99
