Before going to the XI fest next month my plan was to visit Washngton DC but i changed my mind.I will fly to Chicago about a week before the meeting and drive all around Michigan lake before reaching Michigan City. The question is : Is there any special place around the lake that i shouldn't miss ? nice natural sceneries to take nice pics ? ...just let me know .Thank you. If your into Museums....there's none better than the Smithsonian! I've never been to Chicago...so I can't comment about there. Only bad thing about the Smithsonian...is you need a good deal of time to see all the Museums that are interesting! Sucks they're spread out over a big distance. I remember going to all these places as a kid with my Grand Parents. http://www.msichicago.org/ Chicago is a nice town. Make your way down Lake Shore Drive, It is the Rodeo Drive of the Mid West.
