Just a quick shout out for this game that has been released about a week now, a few of us XI  members have it Me, Comfort, Cheese, Smurf and Frozenjr, not sure who else, if you want something different from the usual run of the mill games ie all the cod games Battlefield etc this could be for you. This a game for the more serious player, ie no run and gun or spray and pray (two things that i do in cod4) but i really like this game, maps consist of areas that have to be taken for points, getting more men into these areas will get you and your teams score up, obviously the game is based on Stalingrad so there is lots of ruined buildings etc, you can pick what sort of soldier you want to be ie Assault, Rifleman,Elite Rifleman,Machine Gunner, Commander,Engineer, Marksman, Demolition Soldier (or on some maps Tank Commander) this game is more realistic then most, you really need to be accurate with your shots, some weapons really kick so new skills are needed to be learnt, each teams gets so many men allocated, everytime a soldier is killed you see the reinforcement list reduce until you have no more left, so running blindly into the enemy is not wise or you just leave your team mates high and dry, the Commander gets the chance to call in artillery strikes, stop artillery strikes, call for more ammo, order soldiers into position etc etc, the game is quite atmospheric, great sounds nice graphics and a nice touch is no automatic reload, you find in the middle of a firefight you hear the sickening click of an empty weapon...not good it usually means you are gonna die, you won't be able to jump around (bunny hopping) like other games to escape your fate,you just gotta hope your enemy misses you, which is possible as i said the accuracy of the weapons is very realistic, you can constantly hear bullets whizzing past your head and also kicking the dirt/snow up around your feet, the sound effects are really good from the weapons to the tanks (when shells hit another tank you usually just here a clunk as it bounces of the armour) and the background sounds of explosions and men shouting and dying. I know there are lots of members here who just like the bolt action rifles well if so this is for you.  I am not begging for us to put a server up for this game because i don't think we have nowhere near enough players but if you want a more realistic serious game that is different from most of the other FPS games out there then please if you can afford it give it a go, who knows you might like it, me Cheese and Comfort just kicked arse in a server earlier today (all finishing in the top scores)...XI  boys rule, (yes i know the word Cheese and a serious game is strange but it's true)...Comfort might be making a video to show some of the maps gameplay etc.

Its basicly what SOB said...if your looking for something different...i say go for it...its ALOT more realistic then ANY of the cod series so it has the shock value! NO RPD WITH 999999 MILLION BULLETS! and no noobtubes no running like a super soldier..no jumping from stupid heights...100% life like..+ no bunny hopping

This gametype is Territory you have to capture points on the map to proceed to other objectives...this gametype actually needs ALOT of teamwork

Thanks so much for posting about this game.  I have been leery about buying a game on the first day ever since Black Ops.  I am still in counseling over it .  I think I will get it, in a day or so.

I like run and gun. This is more layed back. I find it harder to play because it is more like real life.
