Hi guy's I need help diagnosing a blue screen issue.

It only happens when I am playing the new battlefield. It started yesterday with the game locking up and now I had the blue screen of death.

All my other games run with no issues e.g. Crysis & Crysis2 , cod4, Black ops.

I have run a checkdisk and found no issues, defrag ok no issues and tried the game on the lowest video settings but it still happens I even deleated it and downloaded it again.

Any help guy's

Edit...It has now happened on crysis2 I am really at a loss. The comp is showing no other issues its not running hot and well within specs..aaaaaggghhhhh

Edit..... again lol my comp specs

Windows 7 32bit home premium

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor

8GB Corsair Vengeance memory

NVIDIA GTX 470 GPU

800W COOLERMAX PSU

Edit... yes I updated my drivers before i loaded the game

Baldie, have you checked your computer specs against BF3 minimun system requirements? I used to have a similar problem a few years ago with a new game. The problem turned out to be the cpu, not the video card, good luck

Joe

If you have not updated your video card drivers do so, this helped me with the crashing.

This game has mega physics, If you can play crisis 2, this will play for you also.

Since it has spread to Crysis, which heretofore ran stable, I would suspect a RAM issue. Google it to see if others have had this problem; and how to check RAM. Good luck.

Baldie have you downloaded any updates or additional programs in the last couple of days, this usually causes the Blue screen problem, if you have uninstall whatever it was and see if it still happens.Smile
