I have the exhaust manifold loose but the steering column is in the way. If I remove the motor mount on that side and jack it up will that give me enough room? I dont see anyway to get the exhaust manifold out if I unhook it at the exhaust pipe? Help

My last Blazer ran till the doors fell off so I was hoping to get the same out of this one. Do you have any suggestions to get to the lower head bolts? I added you to Xfire so give me a shout I will be back and forth as doing some things around the house.

Buds right they last forever and thats why I bought 2 more astros the 4.3 engines are tough . Edited March 6, 2012 by vipersniper Awards

I hope this was helpful Aloha David

Take the bolts out . Make sure the wheel is straight take it loose from the gear, drop it down and lock the steering wheel with a bungee so it doesn't turn-otherwise you will screw up the clockspring. STILL A SUCK ASS JOB!! Awards
