I have owned 4 Ruger 22's. I only have the one now, just a bull barrel. All of them have been damn accurate. I owned a Ruger Super Black hawk SS 44 mag. Hell of a gun but my little chicken wrists couldn't hold enough to be accurate. It always tourged in my had and shot 11" to the left at 25 yards. Couldn't even shoot a man in self defence if I had to lololol. Sold it Weed Edited April 5, 2012 by WeednFeed Awards

Tried using a 357 and couldn't hit squat..... I was tapping them quite regularly with the 41, not near the noise or kick. Looked at a pistol yesterday that is interesting, it's a 45, and it will chamber 410 shells. Be great on an outing if there be snakes about! Awards

I have one that I call "My Little Buddy" (Keltec 380) but Bama wants to get me something different. I'm a "fun size" person so I need something small and lightweight but I want it to make BIG holes. After all, it will be carried for self defense and I don't plan to merely wound an attacker. It's too easy to just piss someone off with a little .22. I like the standard 9mm but it's just too heavy for me. Bama likes the Ruger LCR for me and I'm kinda digging the Springfield XD. Pharticus and Blackbart 2 Awards

Are you in the US? I didn't thing silencers were legal. Silencers / Suppressors / Cans are legal in the U.S. in most states. Certainly here in PA. There are requirements to be fulfilled. If your local police force cooperates they can approve you for a suppressor after a backround check. If not you can have a NFA Trust drawn up by an attorney............ or maybe even Quikbooks. Me, I paid $500.00 to an attorney for a NFA Trust. http://www.petryfitzgerald.com/NFA_Trust.html With a trust you do not need the approval of local authorities. Once the necessary paperwork is completed you apply for approval to the BTF and submit a non refundable $200.00 for the necessary Federal tax stamp. As of this post it takes 6-7 months for approvals. It does take time and money. Blackbart 1

Example, in above post I have "BTF" it should be BATF, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. I accept that I am being a bit anal. A pox on the idiots who previously abused the editing feature resulting in Admins altering it on this new site.

Check out the Knob Creek machine gun meet. That's where all the wealthy idiots go to air out their M2's. Great for shooting out back of my Pocono house without disturbing the neighbors. Quieter than a BB gun except for impact.

Price was $466.00, well below market value. It is in excellent condition showing hardly any wear. No box which detracts from value. Barrel is pinned and cylinder recessed. Serial number preceded by a "K" which I believe adds value. I did not buy as an investment but as a shooter. I believe this is in the Masterpiece series but am not sure. Will know more when I get a book I recently ordered on S&W guns.

They are not a cure all for sound, you still have to use the right ammunition for the gun. If you use the wrong set-up the bullet might still break the speed of sound and you will get the crack as it does. (About 1,120 FPS) If interested the below video explains a lot. A 6" Colt Python, .357,6", blued and unfired. Again a Python in pristine condition. I understand that unless you are a gun nut like me you will not understand the pleasure in owning classic guns that you may never shoot. I have a Walther PPK bought many years ago, back in the early 60's, that for one reason or another I have never shot. Now it has so much value it will not be shot. It is an original made in Germany version, no import marks. But here is the Python first and Walther second: Don't go by the date when photo of Walther was taken, that was when I started taking pics of guns for insurance records if ever needed. Blackbart 1
