Happens alot if your using onboard sound. Yesterday I put in a sound card to eliminate it but have no "official" results yet. There are tons of "fixes" out there and I've tried them all. My last resort was a new sound card. Damage_inc- 1

Solved simply by some by merely plugging in a headset/mic. Guess you are using Realtek onboard sound? I solved all my problems by using a Steelseries USB external soundcard. Loads on Google about this. Damage_inc- 1 Awards

Most commonly is what has been stated here is to plug in a headset, specifically the microphone is what works to fix it for Mery's computer, and I always have a mic plugged in on mine anyway. Good luck.
