well since my 36 ft trailer will be arriving next week I though I had better take the plunge and order my tuner. I had done alot of research on them for my 05 f250 5.4l 3v. everyone pointed to the sct x3 with custom tunes from one of 3 people nationwide 2 of which are more specialized in diesel and 2 in gas. I got a call this morning from one of them and after our conversation and a nice $100 Christmas discount, I just couldnt say no. it doesnt have ALL the features i was looking for such as instrumentation display, monitors things like that, but it is supposedly the BEST for this truck. we will see. wish me luck

Ford 6.7L diesel. 400 horse 800 ft lbs of torque and mid 20's for gas mileage driving correctly. i would strongly look into a diesel if your pulling. my old work truck was 04 F350 with 5.4L and it was a turd trying to pull trailer up hills.but it never broke down. when they retired that i got a 2011 f450 with 6.7L and omg i fell in love. the gmc and chevy's we had had transmission issues many times. i would take a ford for pulling anyday. and sad thing is im a chevy guy. but thats my toys if i want something to be working hard ill get a ford no 2nd guessing.

any ford with a mounted PTO on autotrans need to run engine 1200 rpm for trans pump isn't strong enough to hold clutches in pto

so any pto users do not use idle to operate pto

with my tuner set to 87 tow it takes all the turd outta it. i used the 91 performance tune for a trip and i couldnt keep the tires from spinning. it was pure mean,
