Minecraft Servers, And Best Use Of Them

Hi guys,

 

Today I typed into google Minecraft Servers and found a listings site, with the most popular / and sponsored servers, and tried a few out.

 

I am asking if those in XI would like to see a server that could possibly bring regulars to us, perhaps if required allowing small in game donations (not sure how it is done, but to generate income for XI if we wanted to) or just a fun server.

 

I found myself judging those I went on, how clumsy they were, too much / little help, confusing directions and what is allowed etc.

 

have we ever thought about opening up our server/servers to the greater gaming community?

 

How would you stop griefing, and is it something worth trialing?

 

I would lolve to know, as I find builing stuff a great change from blowing crap up, I would, with admins permission, set up an entrance lobby in game at spawn, aiding those who join what choices to make, but I would need help setting some parts up if youwould allow me access to creatives.

 

for some of my handy work check out the lost city made of wood, castles and stilted city north of spawn, with massive help form Dukoo and Lilacorn

 

I think it may be good to build some stuff for new users, with riddles on boards, to give them a fresh perspective on the game? sort of like a crumb trail, and other possibilities?

The server really needs some help thats for sure, its dead most of the time and I know of only a couple members that use it. St33l would be the person you need to contact. He runs that server and would know how to do what your asking. Send him a pm and let me know how it went and what other ideas you have about getting this server populated again.

We used to have a mod called Lockette which let you lock all of your chests to whoever's names you put on it and that helped alot. We can put that back on if ya want.
