Need Advice on Medicare

I recently was signed up for Medicare automatically because I qualified for disability. About a month ago I received a packet explaining the process and the different options available. I chose to go with the meds coverage option. Now the question I have is this: My coverage for Medicare does not start till October and I desperately need to see a Dr NOW! I can't afford it as I am supporting 2 other people as well. My Dr's office has a program for reduced fees but I do not want a bill hanging over my head for years to come. Will Medicare step up when it does begin and pay these bills accrued now? I need to know so I can get to my Dr> Please be frank and honest and open about this!

idk bout past bills for sure...but i do know they do pay the bills...but i get medicare and medicaid ....only money i have spent for medical is my medicines co pay fees which range from 1.00 -10.00 depending on medication...to find out if they pay past bills u owe u will have to contact social security themselves they will answer any questions u have bout it...

No, they will not go back. Medicaid does though.

i have been disabled last year now i have no med insurance have to wait 2 years before i can get medicare.they do this hoping you die off so they dont have to let you use it even though yu put money into it for years
