Or is the preference to just have a 24x7 classic server? I still would rather have a Locker / Metro server..... Id say the preference is the 24/7 server plus not pissing off the 5 or so members that play there during that time. On the issue of that servers population, I think turning it into a locker/metro HC server from 1pm-1am would definitely help. Though I was playing classic last night conquest large just tot try it out, because i had only played on small servers and domination and rush. I really enjoyed the classic mode in with conquest. made repairmen and medics much more viable. instead of just hiding for 20 seconds and getting back to full health you actually gotta think about what classes your squad is running, and stick together more. I guess to sum up I enjoy the playstyle, it's something new and fresh, i like the softcore damage model, but i like that there is no auto regen, i like minimap spotting but no doritos. That could help with the other two I would think... Thats the same thing we said about a HC server, and all it did was cripple the other two servers. The issue isnt that it necessarily takes population away from our bread and butter servers, the issue is that the amazing players that help start our servers in the AM will instead play on the new server, and in turn, the main servers never get populated. It probably wouldnt be an issue if people would put the other two servers before any new server. But generally most people dont care about populations, they just want to play. I've been playing around on a few of those lately and they're definitely fun (like Mouse, I'm into no auto-regen for health and vehicles).
