I suggest we keep this thread alive and kicking.

 

Share in here what you want in this game now >XI< people or visitors. Right now I suggest:

 

DX10 on all server and breakable maps. DX10 is proven to me that it runs more stable and the engine support.

Or:

 

1. DX10 on some.

2. PS Custom in the Europe server mixed with >XI< maps.

3. Hardcore to stay this way or a better improved (Server/client) Mod.

4. Make more contact with people and play more and give feedbacks from that.

5. Meeting within 2 weeks to talk all our ideas through and options by ventrilo.

 

Checking the traffic, we are cool, but back to the basics and tears of fun.

Suggestions means, we have some guys to make it done and some maybe to come in.

I think DX10 on all servers is not okay. I still know a lot of people who dont have win7 or vista to play DX10

btw I know there was a little tool at Crysis1 that allows you to play DX10 with xp32 as well?

even my buddy McGyver>XI< is still stuck with xp32

 

I have been playing a lot of rounds yesterday and its hard to have some fun atm because there are only a few players and most of the maps are much too big with 5 or 6 players only

people leave again because of this

 

I think the hardcore server is cool atm...

the idea with PS custom in the europe server mixed with XI maps is worth a try

what I really want are some close combat small maps with infantry only and short rounds of 10 mins

no big tactic just run and gun and kill some guys LOL

this can be boring if you have these maps only but again its the mixture

Yes the unlocker for DX9 is still to be downloaded at www.gamecopyworld.com and for the 1.5 patch.

But we can not post that anywhere, because Crytek doesnt like that

 

BudSR said a few days ago to run medium maps and smaller maps for TIA and his suggestion was also to run the maps just like 15 or 20minutes and have a bunch of maps like between 12 to 20 maps. I think you and some more would like that too. We can always run the bigger ones by CryRcon or if that can be coded in Patriot of ammount of people and to run smaller or bigger maps checks. That might be hard to code but I have to see if that is posible.

 

Right now B6 of the 7oXiC server (the best PS server!) is now helping out Darklite and himself to have the PS fully support and I have to see how that is going to be as in status reports

I run it too on my spare system that is running xp64 and someone else I know as well.

I have 8 maps that I am working on now 2 of them will be good for hardcore and I will try and get that done tonight. I checked out four of them and they all can be used on the mixed so whenever you are ready for them XRAY just let me know....

 I think the hardcore server is a good first step to learn more about CW. the suit is disabled and you dont have to worry about it

okay I know the one shot-one kill is not this easy to get used to...LOL...

I don't think "standard" powerstruggle (such as Mesa) is in our best interests because it is so common and we don't have the PS playerbase needed for such long games and big maps. If we implement any PS, I suggest stick with custom, or smaller PS maps.

Yes, if you open up the (master)server list, and check out the servers, and try to find custom PS maps, they arent or just one or two servers, but big ones. (dang I could use more comma's there!)

 

Maybe smaller PS maps and Hybrid ones might owrk or spawn some by the servermod, if that is ready. We will see what we can do but saturdaynight just after dinner at USA times might be the best schedule to have a meeting with the >XI< guys.

 

This week I am going to pick some foolks randomly to have server sessions and to train some. Dragon is first on my list to show the basics 'howto' and 'notto' things

 

Spread the word for me please to have this meeting noted/notified.

Sounds good! Perhaps "XI training sessions" are in order? I wouldn't mind helping out when I have a free hand!

I know personally that training in the "_aim" maps are helpful for beginners. Not sure if you guys have seen them before, they are Gauss aim, aimmapv2, etc made by S9 or shoz. Where's cygon lately-- he could teach us all something!

Pooldayv2 is also good training combat & I learned and experimented with vehicles in AirHell.

Yes I agree or start the avarage ranks if they come in to late of the map.
