Hello my early morning friend, if you want to keep your present settings just in case 'ghosting them' doesn't work keep a copy of this folder and paste it in after loading (same for maps if you want) I do this monthly as I've lost this before, retains all your weapons and changes

C/Users/Your Name/Appdata/Local/Activision      you need to show hidden files

Are you sure you like Scotland?, it's freezing here in UK

Rob, Your advice worked perfect! I made a copy of the folder and placed it on my new install. Tried it just now and it worked flawlessly. I appreciate the help :-)

Now if I could do the same thing with COD4. There is no folder in COD4 like the one for COD WaW. I hope there is a way.

Thanks again!

Rob, It doesn't work for COD4. I had to start all over after the fresh install. I lost all of my settings and started new.

I'm amazed it should have done, try Loco's method if you still can, when you find it remember to keep backups of them on a stick or something.

Hey Loco! Haven't heard from you in a very long time. Hope all is well my SoCal cuz. The pc that all that information is on is being dismantled right now for some upgrades. I think I can pull the drive and connect it to my my external drive case and get the old files that way. I'll try that later today. Thanks for your help man.

Thanks Deerejon, I've never tried using the downloader. Is it a custom utility designed only for COD files?
