The less there is on the drive that your OS is on, the better it is. My PC boots in approx. 10 seconds and its smooth as hell. Loads Steam in seconds because its stored on my other drive. That means there's a lot less strain on the OS drive so it can find what it needs to load faster through and not need to sift through several 100 GB's of shit.
