One of the great recipes is LAHEM MISHWEE. I believe LAHEM is lamb but we now use beef as lamb was very hard to get when I was young. I made a big feed for my parents. I used sirloin tip steak. We have a lot of Syrian refugees here now and sometimes he will speak to the kids, stops them in there tracks lol. He only taught us a few words. When he spoke to the older people in the community sometimes they spoke Arabic when they didn't want us to know what they were saying lol.
