COD5 Ban Appeal

1. What server were you banned from?: >XI< DM CUSTOM MAPS 3
2. When did you get banned?: Unsure, was not in server at the time, past few days maybe.
3. What was your in-game name?: WetShoelaces
4. What is your game GUID (if known):
5. Why do you think you were banned?:

   I believe i was banned for clicking fast enough that people thought i was firing with a scroll wheel. As i was banned while offline, i cant be sure, but i was accused of this several times so i am pretty confident that was the reason. I dont really know how to prove otherwise, but if anyone knows a way that i could prove it (maybe just record myself clicking and upload it somehwere?) then id be happy to do so. There arent a lot of COD5 servers active and id hate to be banned from one just because i click faster than some people do. I have no grudges against anyone for the ban or accusations, and understand the concern, i just want to be able to play on the few servers there are.

Wetshoelace i was the Admin that banned you.

1- i asked you to stop scrolling and you did not reply i then typed it, still no reply. i kicked you to get your attention.

you come back in and did not not ask any questions.

2- i asked you again to stop scrolling  still no reply. so i kicked you again

you returned and still no communication

i then banned you, i have several videos that show you firing at shall we say a very fast rate. the rate is not custom with DM2 and looks very suspect! i would of been happy to discuss with you but there was a lack of communication on your part.

if you say you were not scrolling i will give you the benefit. although this is not written in our rules we try to maintain a acceptable shooting method. your fire rate (for that rifle) was way quicker than i normally see in the game and you would not interact with me.

may be good to read our rules.

We also do not tolerate cheating or disrespect by members or guests, and insist on good sportsmanship. Violations can lead to permanent bans. We play for fun, we play with honour, and we strive to treat each other with respect and consideration. No one, member or guest, is above our Code.

please communicate with an admin when they approach you in the future.

i will lift your ban, it may take 24 hours before you can play

I genuinely did not see or hear anyone saying anything at the time. I was not trying to ignore anyone as i had responded to people previously mentioning my firing rate. As for gettting kicked, i had assumed it was just an auto kick to make room for a member, since i hadnt noticed anyone talking to me. I meant no disrespect.

As i mentioned earlier id be happy to record a video of myself actually clicking or something like that if it would quash this for good. If you would like for me to do that, let me know and ill upload it somewhere of your choosing and link it for you.

At wetransfer.com you can upload any files for free, up to 2GB and videos of course. As some of us are curious anyway and tech savvies, like me. But, I leave that up to @monkie to decide, and in what shape and form. And as for and how this discussions goes.

wetshoelace it may be good to look at wetransfer.com as @X-RayXI suggested or you could upload a youtube video, you can pm me if you want. also it would be good to see your set up for that rifle.

attached is my chat log for the incident. as you can see i explained why i kicked you. anyway lets now move on from that.
