This particular map is a shotgun-pistol-knife only map. It was chosen by the rotation maker to add a bit of fun and something different to the mix. Please stop switching your kit to auto weapons during this map, and play it as it was intended. I witnessed this myself a couple of nights ago, and it ruined the fun for the rest of the players. For those that continue to ignore the game style, you could find yourselves kicked from the map. Thank you for your cooperation, and play on

Living for many years in Laurentians mountains i know the cold but now this morning it was -22C (-7F) thats fucking cold , never saw the lake freezing that early , average is week before xmas... too cold i keep the cats inside and me too. Sorry had a picture but i have a message error trying to copy it

Thank you Pengy! It only takes a couple to ruin it for the rest! Seeing clan members get nukes using fully auto against shotties and happy about it is pretty shitty Hopefully we can go back to enjoying a change of pace in the rotation, love the idea of odd maps being shotty or handgun only, breaks up the normal!

Just wish you Canadians would keep that Arctic air up north...averages 45°F here in Winter, but it's been in the 20's & 30's thanks to that perennial southern dip in the jet stream right as it reaches Kentucky.

Hooray. So, I have had success getting my old CDs working again. All I had to do, oddly enough, was plug in my headset! Go figure! So, I have tested our TDM site and all works. However, I couldn't use my old ONLINE game name, since that old name is a different install key. So, I added an underscore in my online name. Only affects stats, but don't care. I assume I'll need to get "re-linked" to HLSW and/or Rcon. ??? I will test and see, but I can at least play again! old name: LtLaszlo>XI<Adm new name: Lt_Laszlo>XI<Adm

The Parrot A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's' mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behaviour." John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behaviour, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the Turkey did?"

For every person that doesn't like a certain map, there is someone else that does
