I just seen this today on the XI Insurgency Discord from one of our regulars who knew Snap well.
"Just as a heads up to everyone, Snap XI (Paul) recently passed away on the 14th of November due to Pneumonia and complications with prior conditions, his Nephew currently has access to his discord account and are in the process of putting something together to potentially have a place to leave messages for his wife who is very familiar with his love of the gaming communities he was part of.
Paul was 75 and loved gaming right until the end, I'm sure you've all had great experiences with him over the years, you can forward messages to his Nephew via his discord account (snap5285) or hopefully something will be in place soon to put them all in one place.
His family will be keeping an eye on the Insurgency discord for any messages or memories to pass onto his wife"

So, was not around the last 2 nights because my buds band was playing, he was the lead singer of my all rime fav band Monster Truck, he left to follow his heart and a dream, I have been sooooo fortunate to be included in that journey with him, i even introduced him to the guy who is his new lead guitarist for his nrw band, more a country rock/southern rock sound. They opened for a pretty decent Canadian band called Big Wreck this week for 2 back to back shows,i was ofcourse there hanging back stage for both shows and watched them from the side of stage as they performed! 
I was even asked 3 times if I was the band Manager, the one time right infront of my buddy Jon who created the band and is lead singer, i replied that time "Not yet, but let the guy beside me know I play the part well" lol

Gotta say, it feels amazing to be a part of something from the start and watching it grow and seeing people in crowd react and enjoy the night, totally honored to be accepted by these boys as one of theirs!

So sad to hear this news. This is such a big loss for XI. Although i haven't played ft1 in a long time, each time i went in, he was always so friendly and fun to play with. Rip Corpse 😢

I usually do not post much but believe this was important for me to say.
It's been a rough year for the world and I'm sure it's been equally tough for many at XI.  However, my year has brought my family and I many challenges beyond the obvious and I wanted to thank XI and all the members I encounter for giving me a respite.  On any given day I can turn on this old PC start that old game CoD4 and connect with people in a way I can't anywhere else.  I talk to people from all over the world and enjoy their company virtually which allows me to forget about everything else for just an hour or two.   Though we physically never met, have different views and opinions I feel like I can call you friend.  I'm sure there are many of you who feel the same way.
Thank you XI members, guests and everyone who keeps the games running and this clan viable.

As many of you know Mrs Lunk died 2 years ago, a time that sent me crashing down a dark road with a black dog chasing me every day... A period I thought would always smother me in darkness...
Well...
Lunky has met a new lady and we've both decided that there is that spark there to fan into flames so we said let's fan it together... Early days and baby steps for now but I've not been so happy in a very long time... Never would I have believed the light at the end of the tunnel wasn't a train coming towards me but the end of the tunnel...

My Sister who is a Senior Staff Nurse in Leicester City Royal Hospital is just recovering from it. She is super fit with no underlying health Issues but it still knocked her for six for 3 weeks she suffered really bad and had to spend a week in ICU.
She knows of 2 other nurses that were not so lucky and passed away, and 3 other nurses that who she works with had it with very little symptoms.
Doctors do not know why it affects people differently some of her patients did have other issues but some did not but still ended up in ICU.
Her Advice to everyone.... what harm does it do to take precautions if wearing a mask saves just one person is it not worth it ?????????
And remember you may get it and have no symptoms but you will still pass it on. So in my opinion its selfish not to take precautions.

Everyone has already probably noticed but you need a new keybind for weapon pickups. The built in one was replaced to allow for more options and also so it no longer interferes with the USE button when defrosting etc.
Noticed online that I dropped the machine pistol instead of the primary. Experimented with adding sidearms to the list of droppable weapons, not just primaries. Was sure I turned that one off before uploading.
Uploaded fixes: Changed to HC, streak invisbility, 308 mag size now 30 (45 with extended mags). Machine pistol mag size dropped to 20 and start/max ammo reduced.
edit: Jump slowdown should also be disabled.

For the machine pistol, it might be sharing ammo with smgs. Standard for sidearms and will need to check for that. P90 lovers have traditionally outfitted their class also with the M9 + bandolier for the shared ammo to get a P90 with 390 rounds.
Still working out the numbers for balance and all is subject to change but to give an idea of how it works. It has high RoF and large mag size. However it also has very high recoil, low damage per round, and anything beyond close range is a miss. So significantly different than the smg glock.
One thing about the P90. It has always been generally accepted that it is overpowered at long ranges as too accurate. Promod and some others have at times nerfed it in this regard. I can work with weapon spread if this is something to consider.
The SVU replaces the dragunov. The standard is that it has the highest recoil in the class but also has a higher damage multiplier to the chest compared to the M21 (RSASS in this mod) for example. 1.5 vs 1.1.
The LSAT recoil/spread is the same as the M60 but visually the gun model animation behaves differently. But its only visual and the player view and weapon performance are unchanged.
Forgot the streak 'visibility' thing was on. I do that for testing. Will fix that. Like those games everyone here spends 60+ bucks on... each time... things occasionally need to be tweaked or fixed and I will be doing that. ?

As more like i  wont be going , will just let you know last yr won a holiday  basic cashed it all in for a 4k holiday voucher after  lots of heated discussions,said sod it lets all have a family holiday,so missus chose! Benidorm,take it from me lads its a shit hole! beach forget getting near it,unless awake and on it by 6am,the water park is a joke pay Euro30 to get in everything costs you sun beds even rings for rides,if your on 3 day bender then you may have fun!!!........
Will make a suggestion if your looking at Spain......Salou...... Tarragona is lovely and short hop up,Barcelona is short train ride[Barcelona Stadium], Porta Ventura theme park is massive, Salous beaches are great and about 4 times larger than Benidorm[ beach sand[  toe in rocks!]... nearest Airport is Reus down side if they have not extended the run way plane basic slams on to tarmac lol

Well as some of you might know, i work on nightshifts in a hotel. Today i quit my job and mid january i am starting a new job. I am really looking forward to it because the work is much better plus better payments and less hours. I feel so lucky at this moment, that i just wanted to share this with you all.
