Well, I went with the Nissan. It's the top-of-line SL and it's just so much more truck for the money. And at that, it was more than two grand cheaper than the Toyota.
I got the best price from both; They were within $200 of each other at $27,200 (that's after $11,000 off for my Town & Country trade-in.) But with the Frontier that included tax and tags; with the Toyota Sport, that was before taxes and tags. And still, I called the Toyota salesman back and he wouldn't budge. So I called the Nissan salesman back and said that Toyota took $1,000 off their quote (they didn't) and if Nissan matched it, I'd buy today. They did, and so I did.
The Nissan just felt better for me. There was something about the Sport where I had to hop a bit to get into it but I slid right into the Frontier. And I saw what Tw33dle Dee was talking about re. the transmission. It jerked a bit, while the Frontier was smooth.
I pick it up Monday.
Thanks for all your help!!!
