Clapton is a good blues guitarist, hated the Sex Pistols, Herb Alpert and the Lonely Bull was played in school by my music teacher, it was the first track I ever loved. ACDC I like but can leave, no one but no one surpasses Zep for me, but thats individual taste for you and the times you grew up in. I miss those days too lol, the end of rationing in the 50's, returning from school for lunch as my parents couldn't afford school meals for your one egg and chips, fried in lard. Supper cold pork fat from the sunday roast on bread, tripe for dinner (green cows stomach), tongue sandwiches as they were the cheapest meat. No Levis or wranglers for me, couldn't afford them, lived in a 2 bedroom council house and slept with my sister until I was seven. No car, for my dad and no money, but I fought and roamed the countryside with similar rough boys. Yes I miss those days too, now I am comfortably off, worldly wise but not nearly as happy as those days, or was it all a dream? The album I think changed music history was Black Sabbath Paranoid, it rocked the status quo to the core. Fuck the Seekers we want metal.
