Well ?? this coat is proving hard to shift, I've had a load of weird phone calls too, first one was from a guy wanting to know if it was suitable for his local cinema, wtf?, how would I know?, obviously the roof must be leaking, because he asked if it stained when wet?, said he had another one to look at first and rang off. Then this guy rang and asked if the pockets had holes in them, when I replied 'certainly not', he slammed the phone down abruptly, I blame it on covid, turning people weird. The third guy asked if it had appeared on any police programmes on tv, and was known to them, he seemed reassured when I told him I was just an ordinary guy and not famous in the least, but I rang off when he asked if he could meet me in the local park by the mens toilets, no chance of me getting mugged for a coat mate. Strangely by coincidence the police did call to ask my whereabouts last Tuesday, apparently someone was exposing himself in the local park about 15 minutes after I left, wearing an almost identical coat, what a coincidence? they seemed happy that I was elsewhere, forgot to tell them I was on the way to the jewellers to get my watch repaired, oh well? see how it goes on Ebay.
