Sikon got a reaction from GHO5T in It's dark in here...
A woman takes a lover home during the day while her husband is at work. Her 9-year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them and hides in the bedroom closet to watch. The woman's husband also comes home. She puts her lover in the closet, not realizing that the little boy is in there already.
The little boy says, "Dark in here." The man says, "Yes, it is."
Boy - "I have a baseball."
Man - "That's nice."
Boy - "Want to buy it?"
Man - "No, thanks."
Boy - "My dad's outside."
Man - "OK, how much?"
Boy - "$150"
Man - "Sold." In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in the closet together. Boy - "Dark in here."
Man - "Yes, it is."
Boy - "I have a Wilson infielder's glove."
The lover, remembering the last time, asks the boy,"How much?"
Boy - "$350"
Man - "Highway robbery. Sold." A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your gloves, let's go outside and have a game of catch." The boy says, "I can't, I sold my ball and my glove."
The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?"
The boy says, "$500"
The father says, "That's terrible to overcharge your friends like that... that is way more than those two things cost.
I'm going to take you to church and make you confess your greed." They go to the church and the father makes the little boy sit in the confession booth with the Priest to confess his sins and he closes the door. The boy says, "Dark in here."
The priest says, "Don't start that crap again, you're in my closet now." -

Sikon got a reaction from Angelz in Howdy Folks...
Welcome to the forums! lol
Metal of Honor was fun. I played that some back then. The main one that got me hooked on FPS games was the Nova Logic Delta Force series. Fun times.. !

Sikon got a reaction from GHO5T in lost tools
Man, that's messed up. I worry about that sometimes. I work on a new site being built. Normally we work later then the guys in the man lift. I'll end up with my tools on the forth floor with all my stuff. So, sometimes i'll just lock my stuff in the electric rooms. Praying it's still there the next day.. Cuz the security at night is worthless.

Sikon got a reaction from Evil-Monkey in windows 10 Errors
You may have seen this already, but I found this from Microsoft. They also have the samsung evo storage. I'm not sure if that's quintessential or not. Their issues sound exactly like yours.
Hope it helps.

Sikon reacted to Sammy in Apple gaming?
A MBP for 52k? Something that you cant upgrade yourself and will likely be obsolete in 3 years? I dont think so. Other than obnoxious and self-entitled rich people who has the money for something like that?
As for the idea of a high end mac gaming computer for 5k, it would only make sense if you used bootcamp since that is where the majority of the high profile games are. As it is, most developers dont bother with OSX and an expensive Apple gaming rig that few people will buy isnt going to change that.
Unless they have something else up their sleeve. You never know.

Here's a solid build for 1080p gaming; only thing missing is the tower & psu. If you want to do higher resolution gaming, you can always buy a better graphics card. For $60 more, you can double the ram from 16 to 32 gigs. This is an AMD build... if you want to go Intel route, the i5 9600k is a great value, but they run hotter & require a cooler which will run you an extra ~$30. The amd chip comes with a cpu cooler. Water cooling is also relatively inexpensive, starting around $75. https://www.userbenchmark.com/PCBuilder/Custom/S151675-M810675.631838.517228.161079.89269vsS0-M?tab=MBD

Ok, so after reading everything. I think I will just save up for it, then buy it all at once. Maybe get lucky and 'some' prices will drop a few bucks.
Prior to actually looking at prices, I was thinking 2500-3500.. Not including monitor, keyboard, speakers, ect.. But I think I should saving up a bit more then that. With all the options out there I know I can get carried away with it quick. lol
I intend to read more in to amd products. I used them years ago and they was great for gaming (amd cpu), but haven't for a long time. Not out of preference.. I just stopped being picky and bought whatever pre builds I got a decent deal on that was sufficient for what I was using it for. I've almost always used GForce cards though.
I was looking into the cpu cooler before I posted this, Didn't consider a full liquid cooled system. Will have to read more about the installation process before I make any decisions on that.

The info here is just a tad old but it goes over the pros and cons of a boatload of CPUs. I'm not a Intel nor AMD fanboy... I'm a bang for the buck fanboy....
