If you update the steam version and then connect as @PickleRick describes, that should work. You will need to turn off "keep this game updated" in steam

this patch should update you to version 1.7 I would also recomend COD4X which enhances the game https://cod4x.ovh/t/cod4x-releases/24 Download the client and copy/paste it to where you have the game installed (within the COD4 folder ) and then extract it

What is the command to see all my peripherals attached to my pc?

What cell phone do you have? A lot of them are plug and play these days, plug it in via USB and it will ask for permission for the PC to access it. Then it will appear as a drive, like where C is located and any other memory sticks -

My graphics card was crashing (3070ti) I tried everything I could think of without sucsess. I then did quite a bit of googling and found that PSU connections had a tendency of breaking down with these cards, I found one of my modular connections had got hot and spread out. It was on the PSU side, So I cleaned and tightened up the connections and not had an issue since. So I would definitly advise checking all power connections
