Checked out a couple of the 'toilet paper fight' videos on youtube. They are truly sad. Even though often the ones instigating the fights were in the right. Nobody needs six 24-pack cases of TP. The saddest ones though? The vids showing people stealing TP from public restrooms.

Cops got called yesterday because of a couple guys that ran out the door with a full shopping cart full of shit. World is in a panic and we get assholes that steal from people. Loaded up and sped away before the cops got there tho. These days, gotta be careful approaching such people. Cant guarantee that people like that wont shoot you for your troubles.

There are plenty of places for people to go and discuss politics. There are only a handful of XI servers for people to go and play games.

Ok thats funny as dark humor. Especially with the big pack of TP. ? Not so funny in that there are real people like that all over the world. Gimme your shit or I will shoot you in the head. Start denying basic items in first world countries and people turn savage. I suppose people will have to start packing on their local trips to the Food King so they dont get robbed of their valuable tissue paper or hand sanitizer. For that video, I suspect shenanigans and inside help. No legit clerk/checker would even consider doing that without getting store management involved. And no reputable store manager would have agreed to it. One box, *maybe*. But whatever these two could possibly say they would have to be considered a reseller and they require licenses and such. You buy something for 1 dollar, and then sell it for 10, the tax man wants his cut. That store manager is going to receive a very quick visit from district and possibly phone calls from corporate. The basic question they are going to ask is "why didnt you say no?"

Really hate to say it but an example of a stupid thing to do right now. Beneath my window an elderly woman is taking a slow walk... with her walker... aided by a visiting nurse to help her. The woman is taking a big risk going outdoors since she is among the highest risk population. But she does it anyways. Just to show that while the ever increasing number of infections is serious, how often is it because people are not using common sense to protect themselves?

Maybe stop everything and just focus on Sally Struthers PSA's. ? All these people living paycheck to paycheck, well, no more paychecks. We have, I think, 10 people known to be infected in my entire county of nearly half a million. Yet we are all now on 'stay at home' orders. Also doesnt help when we have a governor openly saying 20 million people in this state will be infected based on 'projections'. Numbers dont lie, they say. But such numbers also assume they dont use garbage data to arrive at them or ignore things that dont support a desired outcome. If we all took basic precautions, avoided unnecessary travel, followed strict health and hygiene practices, and avoided doing things more likely to make others sick (all these things we ALL should be doing every flu season) then all of this would be manageable without drastic measures. That said, there are far too many people that dont do this either because they think it requires too much effort, cramps their style, or they dont care. It doesnt help with the double standard that says we are on a virtual lock down but its still ok for you to go out and use your skateboard so long as you stay 6 feet away from other people. In the end, I will take all such no-brainer precautions and such. Both for my health and for others. But call me when the living dead start walking around saying 'brains!!!!'

Ouch. Clean, but probably wont be able to sit down for a week.

Was in rite aid to ask about refills if things get worse. While there, someone called looking for TP. Are people afraid that no more will be produced? Many are treating this as the zombie apocalypse. If that were the case we are all fucked anyway so might as well enjoy ourselves.
