Always update to the latest edition, even if you are not having problem, despite recommendations to the contrary here (but NEVER a beta unless you live on the bleeding-edge.) Keep the previous version that you have in case something goes wrong. However, the VAST majority will have no issues, and remember to always perform a CLEAN INSTALL. Nvidia updates their drivers to improve performance with current games, and even to enhance existing games as more becomes known about them. I think it laughable the Radeon vs. Nvidia debate. Personally, I've always found Radeon drivers a sucky mess to deal with and always problematic to install. They work, eventually, but it just goes to show that there are problems on both sides of the isle, so slinging mud across the isle rarely does any good.
