remove front valve cover (one closest to rad) and the center set of rockers is cly 5, rotate engine till they rock, (open int and close ex valve) thats # 1 cly TDC
to verifi look at crankshaft position gauge should be on or near zero. open #1 sparkplug and use a straw to check position of piston while moving piston up/down
turning crank till straw stops moving and now mark crank pulley with white paint or chalk so zero lines up on timing gauge,
now line up crank sensor outer shell, so that is plug centerd of swing stops of wire connection hitting manifold,don't tighen down,
now look at how the center shaft spinning lug with magnet on it interfaces with sensor hall pick-up line them parrelle
mount sensor now with anolog multi-meter set to millivolt an hook to sensor leads, now keep rotate crankshaft in running direction
til you get meter needle moves when white marks align with zero, while moving outer sensor shell to achive alignment
