Hello everybody I'd like to let you all know that the next attempt at finding a new way to play an old game is up and running. Its the old MW server and its now called xi_modfun it's the games I mentioned earlier GG, CTF, TDM and BEL, It will be up for about two weeks then it will change to redline two weeks then to Modern Weapons for 2 weeks. The maps for the xi_modfun are all stock for this round next time it will be custom maps. Here's the game descriptions for you. Please try it out have some fun and let us know what you think. In Behind Enemy Lines two teams fight each other. However, one team (the runners) are over powered by the other team (the hunters) about 1:3-4. Runners will receive extra points for staying alive. If a hunter kills a runner that hunter will become a runner and the runner will become a hunter. The player that reaches the score limit or the player with the highest score at the end of the game wins. In Gun Game every player is against each other. There are no friendly players, there are no teams, and most importantly no time to think. Players will go through a group of weapons and the player that completes all the necessary kills with each weapon wins the round. In Capture the Flag players on both teams need to steal the other team's flag and return to their base. Each team will also need to protect their flag from being taken as they won't be able to score a point if they return the enemy's flag to their base and their own flag is missing. There are 3 modes for this game type. In mode 0 the players will be able to return their flag when the enemy drops it by touching it. In mode 1, the flag will remain on the location where it was dropped and it will be returned automatically after certain amount of time if no enemy player captures it again. In mode 2, the players will have to recover the flag and return it themselves to their own base.

no commitment necessary here. Just trying to find out if there's any interest. Need about ten players per side and then times then dates that work for 20 people 2 teams and then we do it on the opposing side server. So this stuff is alot of work and time. So before I say there's a tourny I like to know there will be people atleast willing. Right now we only have 8 maybes

Its a hard thing to figure out. How long you let somebody hang around to download a new map and somebody who has some issue with the server and can't get in. Both are handled by the same setting. We usually try for 3 minutes then they get kicked. iF FOR SOME REASON THE GAME IS GETTING WONKY AND ITS ONE OF OUR OLDER SERVER WITHOLD MAPS TURNING THE TIME DOWN TO 1 MINUTE IS A good thing. When people start to complain they start to download a map great and then wham its at 12 kbs maybe turn it back up . Hard thing to balance

hmmm this I think has happened before. I just don't remember a fix. What server do you play on most often I can see about lowering the idle time to auto kick you faster. This is just a maybe though.

I'm starting to look into having a Sniper Tourny with SOS. I would like to know if anybody is interested and what times would be best. ie Saturday between 12 and 3 pm and so on. Also what maps you would like to use. I think it would be on our server and then there's or visa virsa. Please post on theis thread. Thanks Labob

I think the sniper server will keep doing well it has attracted new names to it. So as it might steal 2 or 3 people who play on one of our other servers it has a new crowd. Once the populate the MW server gets some new people it will be able to live on its own and the regualrs will go back to the ace mod servers. Or I hope and think so
