If you really are interested in going through all the maps I can create a server which symlinks to the redirect, that would mean all maps in the redirect could be loaded. It's allot of work though and I will only put the effort in setting it up if I know there will be effort put in using it.

I did post up earlier; but if after some time there are still a large amount of people wanting us to have a server for the previous mod then we will set one up. I am not going to do it yet but it can be done.

Yeah it was last month and still looks to be fine, he hasn't yet posted though lol @@2_MANY_BEERS the monthly costs generally exceed the donation target but we always get over. We have reduced the target by $100 from $650 to $550, but that is also due to some recent server changes.

Firstly thanks to Sammy for getting this update done and running, it's looking great I will say that if you guys dislike the mod or an aspect of it then you need to present it in a constructive way. Constructive comments are how us admins and Sammy as the modder know what changes need to be made. I have gone through this topic and here are my view of some of the comments. We have routinely updated the mods on all the servers and perhaps even more so for the more popular ones. I refer to the mod folder for our redirect which contains many iterations of the Freezetag mod from g13ftag to the latest (http://www.xiredirect2.com/redirect/cod4/mods/). This will become the new mod for the Ftag server but it is not to say that all aspects will stay the same. I am sure Sammy will be fixing the bugs you have mentioned and balancing the perks to get a better gameplay. There was nothing 'wrong' with the old mod and we may setup a server for it down the line. This new mod will bring a fresh game style to the mix and change up the game a little. Your input is important and your view will be listened to, we have had this mod on a server of its own for a while now to allow people to try it out and help with its development.

I have had a look into this and can't see a working server side fix but have found a possible client side fix. All I need to know are the different COD:WAW install directories as I do not have the game. So if you could post them and then I can write a script.

These are some of the changes I have made in the last month all condensed into a single thread for ease. We have had many changes recently to the servers which I am hoping will benefit the majority. I am not near to completing the list I set out to do but after a month this is what I have managed to get done. New Insurgency Server A new custom maps Insurgency server has been created that will allow us to expand into this new game and experiment. We will have to take the changes slow with this one as it is a new game and a new admin team, not everything is known to us yet however we are looking really forward to getting it going. The new server is located at 192.95.39.66:27015 Existing Server Migrations Many of our COD2, COD4, COD5 and Crysis servers have been consolidated onto a new dedicated server. This new server is top of the range and is overall cheaper than hosting separately. It is in a new location that may not suit some but for the majority has shown a better connection, for those that have had issues we still operate a dedicated server in the US. With the moves it has opened up into new areas of expansion and freedom as a community. Teamspeak Migration As well as moving some of our game servers we have also moved the Teamspeak server from separate hosting to hosting it ourselves. I would like to thank iboomboom for helping out with liaising with Teamspeak. We have been given a sponsorship licence at no cost which allows us to host up to 512 slots. There should be no problems with connecting to the new server but if you do have some then there is a comprehensive guide/walk-through available here: http://www.xtremeidiots.com/page/public/teamspeak Redirect Migration One of the other services that has moved has been the redirect which allows players to download map and mod files from a dedicated web server rather than from the game server. There has not been any visible issues with this move and some players are reporting a faster download rate than the previous server. stats.xtremeidiots.com Has Returned! This stats system fell into disrepair when the main servers became incompatible with it, this is mainly my fault as I do tend to spend the majority of my time maintaining the higher traffic servers and services. However now all of the servers that can track stats are doing so and the website has been updated to the latest platform. Everything seems to be working correctly and I hope the stat happy people among you enjoy them. Insurgency Stats System This isn't actually a change that I have made but has been done by Rugger. The Insurgency servers are now having their stats tracked by GameMe stats. This is the same system we use to track the Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline stats. Map Popularity For the COD2, COD4 and COD5 servers I have setup the !like and !dislike commands in-game. Any player can use them and it registers their view of the currently playing map. This allows the rotation admins a better view of what the players want in the maps that they play. All servers have the command enabled and the results can be seen on this website: http://maps.xtremeidiots.com/ B3 Player Link This feature is back and should be working well now, this allows you to use the !fu command in-game and also allows admins to recognise you better. To link your forum account to your in-game account follow these steps: At the top right of this page is your name; click it and a box appears. Select 'my profile' from the box. Under your avatar there is a stacked menu; select 'Linked players' from that menu. From this page you can see your linked players and manage them, to add a player click the 'Link new player' button on that page and follow in instructions. After you have linked the account you may need to wait before it is approved, I will aim to approve the links the day the request is made. Your in-game permissions will be set to the equivalent of your forum account, heads=heads, admins=admins, clan members etc. Steam Integration This is something that is still a little work in progress and I have not yet got to work flawlessly however there are parts that are working. Stem is becoming quite a big thing now and I have been trying to make it easier for members to connect in-game and have fun together. I have also added it so that Steam profile information is pulled from Steam and displayed to the left of a members post. This allows you to hover over the Steam panel and select the 'Add Friend' option.
