  5. Just wondering if I missed something, or if it's just a temporary thing going on. The shout box is missing from the home page, and all the member medals have disappeared. Not really sure what else I have missed yet, but just wondering anyway.
  6. Hurry home. Not being able to annoy you every afternoon is getting old.
  7. I wouldn't mind seeing a freeze tag on cod2 if thats possible.
  8. Happy Birthday

  10. Welcome to the clan, may your stay here be long and enjoyable.
  11. There are numerous reasons it does it, and numerous fixes. Depending on your audio, you can update the realtek hd audio drivers Some have changed a file type to a different file type (someone else can tell that one, i don't remember which file) IF on vista 32 bit, simply plug in a microphone, even USB mic has worked. (only way to solve this for Mercy's pc) uninstall and reinstall an updated punkbuster. Disable XFire in game for cod4 (if you have it running that is, I kept crashing out, but got no error message at times, and XFire was culprit for that particular crash) I'm sure there are many more workarounds, but workaround is all there is. This has been a problem for many from day 1 and nobody has made an update to fix it.
  12. Welcome to the clan
  13. Welcome back
  14. WOW!!! Looks like ya'll were really working together.
  15. Happy Birthay dude-ette. Hope it's a great one.
  16. I'll keep all this in mind. I did look at SSD drives, but I can't afford them as this build will already be over a $1000. And I also know that all the ones we have at work on machines and computers are only lasting about 24 to 36 months. A nice catch on the Ram and mobo compatiblity, I'll have to look into that one for sure. As far as AMD goes, I like them so far, I have had several over the years, And had several Intels as well, and sorry Wizid, I will be keeping it until the mobo dies at least, and probably get another board for it after that. I always keep my last computer going until I make sure all bugs are worked out of the new one. I have never done an upgrade, I always start from scratch. The old one usually goes out to the shop, but in this case I may just move it over to the other side of the desk and put my tv tuner card in it. I have many computers and one usually ends up being a test machine at some point in it's life as well. Thank you all for the input, now I just hope the tax man doesn't keep all my money this year, so I can actually order a new build. I'll know next Monday, what kind of shape I'm in.
  17. No Apple for me... I like to use my stuff my way.
  18. I will also have a couple LiteOn DVD burners, and Win 7 x64 Home Prem. I feel like I know a fair ammount about pc's, at least I'm not a noob anyway, I can usually do what I want, and fix some for people most of the time. Trouble with me is that when I start shopping, I tend to get excited, and overlook the minor things. Someone double check me and make sure all this is compatible please. And if all works out, I will be ordering this chunk of stuff here in the next 2 or 3 weeks. Depends on tax refund. I am replacing a core2 quad 6600, with 4g ram, and an old 8600gt 512mb. Will likely move it out to the shop, as I feel the mobo is on its way out, will use it till it dies and then repair whatever fails. I always like to start from scratch rahter than upgrade. 20. We'll be praying for yall
  21. I been once to Memphis. It was several years ago, but those vids got my heart pounding again. It was so extremely loud, and you couldn't even carry on a conversation good distance from the track once the light went green. One of these days, I may go again, but I WILL wear my ear plugs next time. I couldn't hear nothing for days after it. We used to go to the dirt track races here when I was younger, and the 20 to 30 cars on that track in full on race don't even come close to being as loud as just one of the drag cars on a green light.
  22. In our prayers.
  23. no probs with it here, i have it on 4 computers and all took it well
  24. don't forget to take the fridge when you move.
