They just started remaking the fenders and everything but still no nose. it was made of rubber. i have a few but original and dont want to damage them. i have a 1 piece fiberglass front end(fenders,nose, and valance) and a fiberglass hood. which makes it like 300 lbs lighter it seems lol. but with the cam it shakes like a bitch. i am in a few gto clubs but from what they are telling me and from personal experience the 1970 is the hardest to find parts for. thanks anyways guys Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really feel your pain dealing with the issues you have, To find one is nearly impossible and yes a 1970 puts even more stress on the situation as all the good ones are NEVER going to be found or for sale. you may want to look at year one. I am probably not telling you anything new but they are a good source. good luck with your goat!! P.S. my hat goes off to you for not trying to pass lemans as GTO!!!! I got some door weather strip. some 3M weather strip adhesive, and ran it all around the cowl area. It tightened her up pretty good. JC Whitney used to sell all different types of weather strip , and listed it by uncompressed size,so you kinda had to figure what the compressed size would be.
